On May 12th 2022 I contacted Wolfgangs.com via their website which stated they buy magazine collections and I received a reply via email from Samantha at [email protected] Who informed me that they buy all magazines from 1990 and older and that they pay $1.50 per issue. We exchanged several emails over the next week about my magazine collection which was almost entirely me asking if there were any magazinesnthey didn't take and sending lists of my magazines to make sure they would accept them so I wasn't wasting money sending magazines that they don't want, every inquiry was responded to with reassurance and confirmations that they would accept every magazine that I sent as long as they were published in 1990 or before and that they were not excessively damaged, Samantha, who was now going by the name of Mariaha, specifically told me four separate times that they would purchase, would be interested in and will accept ALL magazines from 1990 and before that were not too damaged, after confirming this multiple times I felt comfortable sending roughly 500 excellent to near mint condition military and aviation magazines from 1990 and before to the address provided to me, I paid $70 postage to ship two large boxes containing the hundreds of magazines and they were delivered on June 16th 2022 at 10 am est to their office, I emailed ask I ng for confirmation of delivery and did not receive a reply until a week later on the 23rd, then it was nothing but delayed responses and excuses until finally I received an email on August 2nd almost two months after they received them stating that they had finished going through my magazines and that they had rejected all but 40 or so magazines and they would send me $61.50 via PayPal and ship the rest if the magazines back to me. The reason they rejected all the magazines was "not listed on website" this is unacceptable, misleading, deceiptful and unethical business practices, I have all emails readily available upon request, ty.
