  We contracted with Battle Born Painting in July 2021 to cover our backyard concrete with coating to add a degree of color to the concrete. The job itself was done poorly to which we advised the company who came out to look and agreed it needed to be fixed. Instead of doing what we agreed to have done the company added an extra layer of slick coating to the top of the concrete which made the concrete very slippery when wet. When we advised the company this was not what we agreed to and the concrete is unsafe , especially for my Blind husband and our grandkids who run on the concrete patio, they advised they would fix it. No 2023 they proposed a contract. To which we have tried over a dozen times to contact them to complete the job. At this point the company has not returned any of our calls, emails, messages in text . They have simply ghosted us. This concrete patio is unsafe for a disabled person, let alone anyone walking on it when it is wet because the coating was not done properly and the company now refused to contact us back . This needs to be resolved quickly as we have lived with this hazard since 2021. Please help us get this issue resolved. Thank you .

  The problem started with the pressure washing we have a two-story house the guy was there for a half hour pressure washing then left I called Derick the project manager told him that I could steal peel paint off by hand that it wasn’t pressure wash properly he told me that she way they do it because pressure washing chairs in the world Which is not true if you get the right and do the pressure washer it would not tear it up however he said he would that’s where they do it when they get there they are going to scrape it send it and cock they did not do what he told me they would do they scraped a few spots sanded a few spots and caulked a couple of spots and then went and proceeded on the paint it’s supposed to have I have a bunch a RAW would new construction supposed to have two coats of paint on it and I thought primer to Derick told me no you don’t need primer so the whole house is supposed to have two coats on it most of the house there’s you can see spots of the old paint so that’s telling me it’s not two coats also there’s raw wood halfway around the house ends in spot in the eaves where it is not seen and I also have paint cracking off or peeling off or flaking however you would like to put it we have made several calls to Derick and the owner will please give me a call that never happened they never return the phone calls Derick did send one guy out Eric the next day after they got through paining to do some repairs he was there maybe four hours then he came and told me there’s still a lot of repairs to be done but Derick called me and told me I’ve already been here too long and he had to go there’s spots on the house where he scraped the paint and caulked but then did not paint it So after spending $6200 on this paint job I’m up on the roof fixing stuff that should’ve been painted fixed and painted in the first place I’m probably gonna have to spend some time or hire somebody to come and fix their stuff because they do not return phone calls We do have pics
