BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!! Purchased a Used Fifth Wheel Travel Trailer on 11/17/23. I will admit I had every opportunity to walk away from this sale with the loss of a $1500 deposit that the dealership said was non refundable, the deposit was made against my better judgement. First inspection of the RV after deposit was made over the phone showed multiple flaws with the unit and I was willing to allow the dealership to make the necessary repairs before pickup date. On the pickup date our inspection showed the repairs were not completed as promised and our deposit was at risk of loss if we did not allow them to try and make the necessary repairs on the pickup day. The walkthrough technician was extremely frustrated with my requests and continually slammed the plastic refrigerator door and told me to use “Man Strength” if I wanted it closed, it was clearly broken. This experience was terrible and a show of poor customer service. After all day in the dealership we opted to take the unit as it was as to not forfeit our deposit. Fast forward 24 hours and the problems started to show face. Stereo not working for more than 5 minutes, Hot Water Heater not working after Tech De-Winterized the unit, Refrigerator making loud sounds, and the worst was the faulty landing gear collapsing and causing major damage to the RV. After multiple phone calls and emails I was eventually told these problems were all mine and the dealership wanted nothing to do with assisting in any of the problems that arose, they did offer to give a quote to fix the damage done by their faulty RV. As it stands this RV is currently stuck on the back of my truck and can not be removed as the landing gear is completely broken. As a buyer I would be cautioned against doing business with this company as their values are clearly those of profit and nothing more. Mark my words, you WILL REGRET purchasing anything from this company and they will not stand behind anything they promise. You have been warned.Initial Complaint

Sprads RV dealership is not honoring the warranty work covered in the purchase agreement. The dealership has had the RV for 2 months on their service lot with no contact with the manufacturer regarding the work to be done. The manufacturer, Lance in Lancaster Ca, told me that Sprads must be a rogue dealer that is not reaching out to them to get warranty authorization and does not want to perform the work.Initial Complaint

On 11/08/2021 I paid the cash deposit of $3,000 to Sprads RV to begin purchase. I indicated to Finance Manager .............................that I desired to pay cash, but may need to finance the Grand Design ..2970RL, as I was going thru divorce and would consult with my lawyer. My Lawyer advised against large spending and suggested I finance instead. I attempted obtaining financing by myself and was unsuccessful. I told the Finance Manager my situation and he told me he would try finance options they had. After not receiving any communication for a while I attempted contact with the finance manager to no avail..not in the office, busy with customers etc. I left messages with no response from him. My last contact was when the business manager stated I would not receive a refund of my deposit. This is despite a text message from the finance manager that stated the business manager wanted to know how I wanted the deposit money returned to me. So Sprads RV has my deposit of $3,000 AND has that RV or has sold it for additional profit. I am seeking $3,000 no more, no less. I do not care to hear from them. I do not want service in Liu of or credit. Cash is what I provided and cash is what I expect. Thank you. **
