Upon reserving my room I spoke with Vickey . At no time did she mention I would be charged a $500 deposit to hold the room . Nor did she make mention of the $75 garage key deposit. Furthermore I requested and was charge extra for a water view , at no time did Vickey mention the water view depend on availability , Vickey assured I would have a water view . I was charged extra for a water view which I did not receive. Furthermore the Google search of the this hotel is not reflective of what it looks in person . This hotel is definitely a negative 0 I would not recommend anyone to stay there . It’s nasty smells of smoke is pet friendly which I again was not made aware of . I am allergic to dogs I saw three dogs at this hotel . I am seeking a full refund due to the fact this hotel has false advertising practices. After checking out of the hotel the very next day , my fiancé and I traveled to the Peppermill hotel . The service was outstanding and the deposit was only $100. The Peppermill is a 5 star resort . The Plaza Resort Club is a negative 0. The Plaza Resort club put a damper on my fiancé and I wedding . It was a huge inconvenience for us to move from this hotel to the Peppermill due to the plaza resort club false advertising, we were hugely inconvenient. I am seeking a full refund in the amount of $585.34. I made Vickey aware of this matter the day of checkout , she told me to call the manager Jackie on 06/24/2024 to request a refund . I called Jackie today she was very rude and snarky claiming the water view was not guaranteed. Which is a contradiction of what Vickey had assured me regarding the water view , which I was charged extra for . Jackie is very unprofessional she has a nasty attitude. The fact this hotel advertised as a five star resort is ridiculous. They charge for extra services and they don’t deliver. I am seeking a total refund for services I did not receive. Hello, I booked a 2 night stay at this hotel for 7/22-7/24 through Booking.com without realizing that it's a non-refundable booking. On Saturday of last week, I email the property requesting to cancel my reservation but did not received a response. On Monday, I called the talked to customer service that I need to cancel my reservation due to a death in the family. I was told that I will not get a refund. This lady did not even offer an option to rebook. She was rude, abrasive and dismissive, and did not emphasize. I understand they have a policy but they should be at least understanding of the situation. I called again today, 7/22 and explained the situation and was told again rudely by this person named Jackie (assistant manager) that they will not issue me a refund. It's $339.59 Why does she, Jackie (on behalf of Plaza Resort Club) want to be unjustly enriched for services not rendered at this difficult time? I hope that you can help on my behalf and assist me on getting my refund back. Total amount is $339.59 My first contact with them was a week ago, they have ample time
