      I took my truck a Ford F-250 1995 xlt. To have my breaks fixed because the pad we're sticking to the rotor. I was told by management on March 10 that leave my truck, also 400$ for deposit and it would be done. The managers mechanic said there was a secondary problem and that all the new parts I had replaced, had to be done over. Three weeks into no replys and employee not finding break parts, they suggested by passing some lines, and took it into their own authority to make changes with no written approval. I had to buy another vehicle to get to my job driving truck at Tesla. JBhunt. I returned on May the 10 because I was getting no awnsers,and the shop mechanic continued stating he knew the problem, and changed out my master cylinder,and break booster, which I did not authorize or did I get it in writing. No one has contacted me and the truck still has no breaks. As of may 17 I walked in the shop and was told there was nothing they can do for me because they were not able to fix the truck after all the unknown modifications I am unaware of. The manager who states he contacted me told me to come get my truck on May 21. With no working breaks or paperwork.I put down 400$ cash, and now I being quoted an unknown price for service never completed plus the truck now has no breaks. I drove it in this shop with break pressure and now I have no breaks,and a surprise repair bill coming all on the managers words of him trying to help me. Note,,,,,,I had a similar problem in Sacramento at another low budget shop,and I complained to bureau of atomotive and the shop admitted it's wrong doing,which I never got anything in writing. I just want to pay for breaks that can be repaired, not a whole change up to my truck that I did not give consent. Just payed new registration and the truck has been there two months. I am A nine Year Marine Veteran and I feel terribly wronged.

      Hello I went to affordable brakes an tire see what was going on with my car in July of 2021 I was told that it needed a head gasket fix because it was a lot of white smoke coming from the back so I went told them to fix it but they said would be 2 weeks went from that to a month & that would be the engine not the head gasket it would need a whole engine I order the engine that was $1,500 fix the car but that wasn’t the problem they didn’t fix the problem because the car was doing the same things when I dropped the car off to them wasn’t going over 40 an was jerking like it had no pressure I paid them $2,400 to fix my car an it was fix they had my car over 90 days got the car back September so I had went to another shop see what’s actually wrong an if I can fix it an they provided me with everything wrong with an with what needed to fix affordable brakes an tires never fix the problem wrong with my car they have never tired to reach out fix the problem or anything

      Affordable Brakes and Tires used Predatory Consumer Tactics in an attempt to upcharge parts and services provided. I had requested for an oil change, clutch replacement and dual mass fly wheel replacement. I was provided 3 different invoices all for the same work and same parts ranging from $1080.00 -$1650.00 The mechanic informed me when financing the service to not tell the third party finance company for what the work actually was. They told me to tell them it was for "New tires and rims". They also informed me none of the work/service provided was covered under warranty (verbally), however my invoice stated it was (4,000 Miles/90 Days). I then called Acima Credit who is the financing company. They confirmed they received a contract agreement for Rims and Tires. I requested for them to investigate with the merchant. They then updated the contract without requesting an additional signature from myself. I then took my Jeep to another mechanic to inspect the repairs. He confirmed 3 out of my 4 quarts of oil were drained without and identified leaks. Oil change was never completed. I am missing bolts/loosened bolts on my transmission, engine, and transfer case. My 4wheel drive is disengaged and now broken. My clutch was not ratio'd appropriately and is causing issues to the car. This mechanic has caused more damages to my vehicle and none of my services received are covered under warranty per Affordable Brakes and Tires. My car is not safe to drive and could have potentially caused me serious harm and injury due to the transfer case, transmission and engine not being bolted properly together. This issue was either negligence or was intentionally done by the mechanic. I will be filing a complaint in small claims court. They also said they would not charge more for labor on Flywheel and last minute tried to add 0.7 hours to the invoice for the flywheel labor. Acima Credit will not assist with updating the contract/agreement correctly.
