I *************************** understood my wifes original dentist in ****** ** called ****************** referred **** to northern nevada Endodontics (NNE) just for a root canal. She was told our portion after delta dental would be $500 after root canal is completed. When she arrived at NNE they said she needed a 3D image X-ray of her mouth not covered which was $225 and then they took normal X-rays as well, then doctor examined the tooth looked at X-rays and said they could not do the root canal. So they charged my wife ********************* $320 paid at that visit. Then we got another bill for $78. The whole root canal was supposed to be only $500 we were told but they didnt even do it and are charging us almost $400 for *********** and our insurance did pay their portion. This seems an abuse of power and excessive charging considering they did not do the root canal.her appointment was 3/29/2023.Business response

We take extra time to verify your insurance benefits coverage to reduce the chance of this happening. However, a financial agreement was signed at that time stating that you are responsible for any amount unpaid by your insurance provider.

It is important to note that your insurance provider determines insurance coverage and payment, and we have no control over their decisions. If you are unhappy with their decision, I suggest you contact the insurance company directly or talk to the HR department that chose this plan at your work.That being said, we strive to work with all of our patients to ensure they receive the care they need, regardless of insurance coverage. We offer a range of payment options and financial assistance programs to help alleviate the burden of healthcare costs.
