This complaint is regards with the service I received at the McDonald's in Yerington, Nevada, on May 7, 2024. Upon arriving at the restaurant, I ordered two sundaes, one double cheeseburger, and one water at the self-service kiosk. Unfortunately, despite several customers waiting before me, my order was not fulfilled for over 30 minutes. I started talking to one employee about what was happening and she ignored me. After I was talking to another employee I told her as I waiting that they were shoving meals out to the drive thru but neglecting the ones in the lobby! To my dismay, an employee from the drive-through approached me and began verbally abusing me. When I attempted to reason with her, she continued to berate me and cuss me out. I requested that the manager be informed of her behavior, but she stated that she had already given her two weeks' notice and she didn't care. Another employee then approached me and claimed to have been working on my order, but upon closer inspection, I discovered that the two sundaes she had placed on the counter had melted and were inedible after allowing them to sit there for 10 minutes she left in on the counter and continued to help the drive-thru again. When I pointed this out, she became angry, smashed the sundaes together with her hands, and proceeded to throw ice cream at me. A manager or assistant manager eventually intervened and attempted to calm everyone down, but the two employees involved remained agitated. The manager, whose name I unfortunately cannot recall, deserves recognition for her calm and collected demeanor, as she processed a refund for my order which i didn't ask for. However, the employee who threw the ice cream ran out of the restaurant and drove away. It is deeply concerning that the owner/franchisee or manager was present in the office with the door open but failed to intervene. This is also elder abuse as i am 61 **** ***** *** *** ****
