    Pattern of Complaint:

    On November 12, and November 23, 2021, BBB attempted to contact American First Auto Protect LLC regarding a high volume and pattern of serious complaints. BBB has received complaints alleging:

    consumers being told an inspector has to look at the vehicle before a decision can be made to cover the claim or not, and an inspector does not come show up and no contact can be made with the business for weeks.

    We have also identified a pattern in their responses to complaints stating they are sending a refund, or a check for the consumers claim, but the consumer does not receive the money and they are unable to contact the business.

    BBB notified American First Auto Protect LLC about the pattern of complaints and asked the business to voluntarily cooperate in eliminating the pattern by providing a written response outlining the specific steps it would implement in order to avoid similar complaints in the future. BBB also requested general information including the names & full contact information of the business’ principal officers and responsible management and the physical address of its principal office.

    As of December 22, 2021, American First Auto Protect LLC has not responded regarding the pattern of complaints or BBB's requests for information. BBB has concerns about American First Auto Protect LLC’s business practices and urges consumers to use caution based on their complaint activity and lack of responsiveness.

      Purchase vehicle warranty back in 2021, and the contract ended in 2025, have been requesting for inspection, but their number is always busy even after hours, i have 8 repairs in these 3 years for over $11K, but never had a chance to submit or request a claim, repair shop called also same result, not sure if this only happens to me? but sounds like a scam, and I felt like a victim with this company .

      I purchased a American first Auto protect Warranty. 3 yrs ago, when I try to use them the number was no longer valid. I don't have any other way to contact them. the number is saying it was disconnected/ not valid.

      American First Auto Protect LLC- i purchased a full platinum warranty in 2021 and have not been able to get a hold of the company at all’s phones and emails are no longer in service. i paid over $2,500!dollars for additional car warranty. This is ludicrous as something needs to be done about this false company that is stealing money from people criminal charges should be sought after this false company that continues to take peoples money!

      On 03/24/22 I bought an extended warranty for my car for the amount of 2,165.09 for 5 years. I received a call In January 2024 from another company saying my warranty was expiring. Which prompted me to call mine. To find out the webpage is down, telephone numbers do not work. I attempted to email as well. So, I am supposed to have 5-year warranty and the company does not exist. I would like a refund, since I never used it, nor can I,

      On 4/14/2022 I purchased an auto warranty policy from American First Auto Protect for $3211.09. Coverage was from 5/13/2022 until 5/13/2025 or 45,000 miles. I went to make a claim on 2/05/2023 but was unable to reach AFAP via their email address or their phone number. I was told that AFAP had ties to American Dream Auto Protect but they (ADAP) denied any affiliation.

      I am reaching out to you because I purchased your Platinum Car Warranty ($3,493.60) for my son's car. The policy went into effect Dec. 12/8/2023. Last week, 1/15/2024 my son was at work and he went to leave for lunch and the car was grinding. So he had it towed,$226.83, to the auto repair shop that we use ***** *** ******(***** *******-owner, Delaware, OH). ***** said it was the transmission and from that point tried to reach your claims dept. and whomever he spoke with said " If the car was driven 30 more miles it would have been covered, but its not This was Wed or Thursday. So, he called me, I had already read the Vehicle Service Program, and I finally got a hold of Adam G**** yesterday 1/19/2024, sales person at American Auto, and we got disconnected and from that point forward everytime I called your company it went to "Leave a message" I finally received a call from Raymond yesterday, and he was a bit crass with me. I too, deal with the public and my reputation is very important as I'm sure you want yours to be as well. ***** was finally able to talk to Raymond, and I believe an inspector is supposed to come out next week. I did A lot of research before I purchased this warranty, (Almost $3,600) and want to be treated fairly. I am asking that you get involved and make this right. I purchased this car from a ***** dealer in 2017. the car is a 2015 ***** CRV which had 48,000ish when I bought it. It now has 79,000 ish. My sons work is 1 mile from home. He does not drive a lot as testament to the mileage. The car is serviced regularly and is garaged.
