1) Their website does not provide the user with a breakdown of deductions/transaction history made to the overall total cost of the student loan.payment. Their receipts only display the amount you paid. 2) Payments made beginning 9/2020 is not displayed in the website payment history page so you must save every receipt. 3) Their website will not allow you to view/download your previously paid reciepts from the History page.Business response

1)In this case, the consumer owed $18,359.87 plus post judgment interest accruing at 4%. However, we agreed to a settlement of $15,936.48 to be paid in installments of $221.34. Thus, once the consumer completes 72 timely settlement payments, the account will close regardless of what the remaining judgment balance and post judgment interest are. The balance that the consumer sees on our payment site is the actual balance owed not the settlement balance. We have looked into the ability to display both figures but at this time only the actual balance will show.
2)This payment site was rolled out in February of 2021 which is why the consumer cannot see the payments made prior to that time. We can always provide a complete payment history and balance breakdown upon request by emailing [email protected].
3) I am not sure if this point 3 is the same as point2- but the site does have a history that details the date and amount of every payment made (since we rolled out this site) in Feb 2021. I have attached the payment history from the payment site here as well as the page from our system showing all payments since September 21, 2020. (Note that the January payment that was recently made does not yet appear on our internal system but will be credited on the date it was submitted).

Moving forward, if this is a message posted to the public, I would respectively request to leave out cost information out of your responses. Others don’t need to know how much your clients owe and at what interest. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I’m glad enhancements are being made.
