We never signed up for any services this year. They claim our neighbor signed up. We only requested flea and tick treatment to our lawn last year. This year they continued that service as well as additional services that were all not requested. They left our front gate open on several occasions letting our dogs out. And due to us not knowing they were coming, our outdoor cat got sick from the treatments they did and he has since passed. Again we never requested any services and the only document they have is one our neighbor signed.

I am sorry to hear that you are having an issue. There are two Weed Man Offices in the area. According to the zip code that you have provided your home would fall in the Weed Man Buffalo East's office they service the Northtowns. This office that you are contacting service the Southtowns and I am sorry but we would not have any information on your property or your neighbors. Please feel free to contact them at ###-###-#### for any further assistance. I am sorry that we are not able to help with this as we would not have any information on this matter.

One data sheet says to stay off the treated area for 12 hours. A second data sheet says to stay off the treated area for 48 hours. And yet you say that these chemicals did not give my dogs a rash and killed my cat? You told us we only needed to stay off the grass for an hour or so. It is disgusting that you are okay with running your business in this way. Forcing customers into a second year of treatments. Harming animals and denying responsibility.

Any pesticide applications that are applied to customer properties are flagged with our 24 hour pesticide signs per NYS guidelines. These signs state that a pesticide application was applied, do not enter and do not remove the signs for 24 hours. We also tell our customers who have pesticide treatments to stay off the lawn until the pesticide is dry or if it is a granular application to water it in and allow it enough time to dry before re-entry. We also spoke with our product supplier and they also confirmed for us that commercial use pesticides do not have any residual left on the lawn beyond 24 hours based on the rate we apply our products at. I believe what you read on the labels regarding the 48 hours was for agricultural use which is applied at a much higher rate and is used differently than your standard commercial pesticide application for residential properties. As I have stated in previous responses, we have never had issues with our products affecting animals negatively in the 20 plus years that our company has been in business, and our customers have the option to discontinue service at any time, we just require that to be communicated to us prior to services being completed. Your services with Weed Man have been discontinued per your request on 11/6/23 and no services have been performed since that notice. Our services are kid and pet friendly when following the guidelines of staying off the applied surfaces until the product has dried. I am sorry there is nothing else we can do for you besides discontinue your account and explain our processes and our products.

WeedMan Buffalo East is the WORST company to deal with. They killed my front lawn and when i complained they sent a guy out who said he had no idea what happened but he would have them put grub treatment down, even though he could not find any grubs.. I know what happened. The kid who sprayed, sprayed too much in the hot son. So they came when i wasn't home and applied grub treatment to my front and back. I have never had any treatment to my back because I have dogs. Now they totally ignored my request for repair. I spoke with their manager Amanda, and sent her pictures and she "promised" to get back to me the first thing Thursday morning. So far nothing and they won't even tell me who is above her. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE111 i WILL BE FILING WITH BBB AND SMALL CLAIMS COURT!!

I spoke with Sheryl today regarding her account, and I apologized for the way that her account was handled communication wise. We did apply a grub treatment to her whole property when it was supposed to be just for the front lawn. We applied this product as a part of her service guarantee and as a response to an issue with her lawn. We also provided seed in the fall for any spots that may require repair. I discussed the status of her lawn currently compared to when she sent in photos of the issue last month. After speaking with Sheryl today, we came up with a solution for her account to have a Service Manager follow up of the status of her lawn in the Spring, and we will be doing a free lawn care program for her for the 2024 season due to how her issues and her account were handled at the end of the season. We have settled on good terms and will be continuing to monitor the state of her lawn once we get back into the Spring season. Thank you for allowing us this opportunity to make things right.

A random worker entered our private backyard (which is gated and has a "beware of dog" sign) to spread something on our lawn. We don't know if this stuff is toxic, we have a dog and are concerned for his well-being. We have never used this service, and only caught it because we can see the worker leaving our driveway on our ring camera. We can see the granules all over the grass and don't know what this is. We are very adamant with not using chemicals in the yard as we grow vegetables and have animals, I am concerned that this happened.

I called Jen on 9/15/2023 when we received the complaint from BBB. We discussed the service was an organic fertilizer that was applied by mistake and no pesticides were applied to her property, which meant it was safe for her dog to be on the lawn anytime after that treatment. Our truck GPS took the technician to the wrong property, he was supposed to treat our customer about 3 houses down and did not realize he was at the wrong property. Offered to send her product labels for what was applied and also apologized for how late the response was from the incident since we did not get the paperwork from the BBB until 9/15/2023, and the incident occurred on 8/23/23. We ended the call amicably, and I had apologized again for our companies mistake.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. The company reached out to me finally and apologized. They advised their employee went to the wrong house and provided information on the granules they spread around my yard and ensured it was non-toxic. Thank you, *** ******

They are charging me for spraying my lawn which I did not contract for this year. Tabitha says even tho I never sent back any of the papers they sent I was still under contract to them because of last year. I have asked in writing twice for them to send me copies of my signed papers saying I ever agreed to something like this which they have totally ignored. They just bill me and add a late fee every month. When they say they came out was after I already had 2 applications from my current company so it definitely wasn't the initial treatment. It's like somehow my address came up mistakenly and they just sent someone out of the blue. I did not see anyone here but they come so early I could have missed them. I would just like them to stop billing me for something I did not sign up for. Thank you!
