I took out a loan with ****** **** loan for 500 dollars. I defaulted because of had some issues. I made my last payment in December of 2022. I received a call today on May 2nd saying they were from NRA and that they had me on a recorded line and they were using very threatening language. I talked to a man named Vincent S*****. They said that I was defrauding ****** **** loans by not paying and I had to make a payment today to stop potential legal action. I was driving and my cell lost signal...I called back 3 times and they left me very rude messages telling me that since I disconnected the call they were moving forward with legal charges. I finally got back to him and explained why it hung up. They brought up my job that I work now, I wasn't working there when I got the loan, I am terrified that they are gonna get me fired calling my job. They said that I lied about the address. I no longer live there I moved 2 years ago. I felt very threatened and I felt like at any moment, I was gonna be in cuffs, they kept saying you are on a recorded line and I have everything you are saying on record, but he changed around everything I was saying. I agree that I owe the debt. But I am going to be paying 300 dollars more than the loan was for. But apparently that's the "deal" they were giving me. Said I need to show my kids im a responsible person by paying this loan off. Told me to disregard the voice-mails. I'm going to pay it off...but I feel like at this point, I'm being robbed. They sent me the document to sign and I haven't yet.Business response

I have been paying for a loan I had taken out some time back and I only have two payments left with Niagra restitution. I should have been done paying my payments to them on September 30 2021 . I missed my September payment and I got a called that they were gunna sent my file to my county to service me papers. On top of that they are charging me additional $79.99 on each payment that is missed. I can’t afford the payment right now.Business response

We spoke to her she said she wanted to take care of it on a recorded line we resolve the matter
