I purchased a couch with chaise, 2 chairs, 2 ottomans. This was supposed to be a pleasant experience as it was my first time dealing with the store. The original designer talked me out of what I liked on the floor. She really didn't listen to anything I wanted. She kept a chair I had planned on getting rid of and worked her design around that. After many sleepless nights I contacted the manager Barb T*****. She came out to my house to discuss the situation. She admitted she wasn't sure of the direction the original designer was going. She swapped out a different chair for me which I was grateful for. The one chair's back cushion was not filled enough. After several discussions, Barb agreed to have a new insert delivered. Mind you her first suggestion was to "fluff" the pillow every time you got up. I never heard of such a thing. I continued to be unhappy with the quality of the furniture as I told Barb the fabric had started to fray in spots. She told me I needed to contact someone who dealt with the fabrics. I did and that person blew me off to another person. I told the women the e-mail she gave me kept coming back with fatal errors. The original fabric person never bothered to respond again as did Barb. I spent a lot of money in the store and feel the quality of the fabric is poor. It's only been 4 years and it looks worn and matted down. The Avery chair also developed a tiny hole in the cushion. I purchased the protection plan that they push on you and as a result, I did spend more money, but to my dismay they say it has expired. What good is it? I think it's their way to just get more money out of you. I have had furniture for 20 years that held up better than this. I certainly am not in a position to change out my furniture every couple years. I am looking at having all new cushion covers, replacement of the existing furniture or my money back. I am extremely disappointed and want a proper resolution: for my furniture to be replaced.Business response
