Don't do work with them! We were supposed to get our driveway sealed LAST SUMMER in 2021 originally but they didn't do it. We figured we'd give them a 2nd chance. BIG MISTAKE! The 2nd time they had an excuse, it rained. But the 3rd time they drove by didn't stop and we get a call saying it'll be done the 10th of June 2022. It was a nice day and they NEVER SHOWED! It's an inconvenience to keep having to move vehicles AND AN RV! Also, there's NO PARKING on my road so finding finding parking arrangements is difficult! Thank goodness for a neighbor that has been kind enough to let me park my RV in their yard! HORRIBLE customer service!

I apologize that you had a bad experience with our company. 2021 was an unprecedented year due to the rain that we had in June and we were still dealing with restrictions due to COVID. If it rained on the day of your appointment, then we would have to reschedule because you cannot seal in the rain. I am not sure what you are referring to about the 3rd time as I don't have your address and I cannot locate your information by your name.Review from Stan M

They mailed a flyer stating the cost to seal the driveway was 70$. I called to confirm and they asked me if it was sealed last year, I replied yes. The gentleman on the phone stated that it would be 70$ ,I made an appointment and when they showed up the invoice was for 163 $ I stopped them and told them if they could not honor the 70 that I would not want the seal. I wonder how many other seniors they try and scam.Baughman Magic Seal, Inc. Response

That was a typo on the person who entered this customer's order. His card did read $70.00, but on our drivers sheet it showed $150.00 because the office staff typed that in error. If the customer would have called the office, we would have figured it out and corrected it. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.Review from Marlene W

The clerical end is brusque and borderline rude. She acts as if she is doing you a favor by taking your information with a "Don't call us, we'll call you" attitude. I called in the Spring 2021 to schedule as Baughman had previously done our driveway for several years. She said - "We'll call you to schedule when we are in your area". Never called. On August 16th, I called to check on the scheduling and she said, "We can't do it this year for you due to so much rain". It made me wonder how they could maintain their business with so much rain. I gave her a terse thank-you; to which she replied, "Sorry" and hung up. This type of customer service ensures that we will never call Baughman again. She should be terminated for her lack of manners and attitude. The actual blacktop service they provided 2013-2018 was acceptable. In 2019 and 2020 they never bothered to show up.Baughman Magic Seal, Inc. Response

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Unfortunately, between being delayed from COVID last year and the unpresented amount of rain in July 2021, we have not been able to service all of the zip codes that we normally service. We cannot seal driveways in the rain or if there is a chance of rain as it would cause a ton of property damage.
