      On 8/14/2021 had a baptism party for our daughter We paid 1562.01 in cash. Was a sit down plated meal @22.50 a plate not including drink start time was 2pm to 5 pm. 15 of the stuffed chickens were raw and the kids chicken fingers were cold and one table did not have any mashed potatoes on the plates . At 4 pm the waitress started cleaning the room saying that there was another party coming in soon to the point of guests were drinking their drinks and they were taken from them even tho they were full glasses we were forced to leave at about 415pm because everything was empty. Talking with the owner via text message she asked if I wanted gift certificates to the restaurant I said no just some money back there were supposed to be a check mailed to me it never showed the second check she showed me a picture of the check she was going to send for $200 when I told her that was a slap in my face that didn't even cover the raw chicken she told me she had nothing else to say that was on September 18 2021 have not received that check either. I'm just looking for money back for the raw chickens and Time not being able to use the facility that I paid for around $500 I don't think this is an unfair price for what we have been thru in this process

      Please find below my response to a complaint that was made against The  Grapevine Banquets in reference to the services that were provided to ***** ******* on August 14th, 2021. I was contracted by ***** ******* to provide a Luncheon on August 14th,  2021 at The Grapevine Banquets. The services that I was retained for were as follows: 47 Adults, 10 Children and 1 Special Meal START: 2:30 Individually Assorted Cheeses and Crackers LUNCH: 3:00 Fresh Rolls with House Made Garlic Glaze and House Salad with Italian Dressing 3:15 LUNCH White Cheddar Mashed Potatoes and Fresh Seasonal Vegetable- 47  Combination of Broccoli Stuffed Chicken and Roast Beef with Gravy 10 Chicken Fingers & mashed 1 Special is double chicken no beef Dessert customer cake END: 5:00 All packages include Coffee, Tea and Assorted Pop Products Centerpieces and colored napkin provided no additional cost Cake Cutting no additional cost $20.95 per person-- All Food and Beverages are subject to a 19% administrative fee  and 8.75% sales tax- No Additional Gratuities Will Be Charged The first guests arrived at 1:47pm and we began service before the time frame agreed  on at no additional charge. The cost is based on Food, Beverage, Space, Linen and  Centerpieces. The time that was provided is 2:00 Pm until 5:00 Pm in the space that  was provided. End time does not refer to the party always staying until that time.  There are variables to each event. I understand that an error was made. On the day of  the event this error was corrected immediately. The guests were also compensated  with take out dinners as the staff prepared and packaged those additional dinners to  go. The staff accommodated the guests the best they could given the circumstances  and challenges that they had. I personally spoke to **** and offered Gift Cards to  our restaurant as he was looking for another compensation. He declined our offer. A  check for compensation was then going to be mailed for $200.00 but according to  **** that was a “slap in the face.” A review was written on social media after the  $200.00 compensation was offered. The space was not retained for another event on  that date.  The Grapevine takes all feedback very serious and wants resolution to this matter.  I am in procession of the $200.00 check and will mail it certified mail if **** finds  this offer acceptable . Please follow up and I can send over the release that will need  to be signed moving forward.  Liza
