Book Marketeers Are Very Unprofessional, I Have Reached Out Several Times. My Book Was Edited Properly. The Errors Were Not Corrected Nor Addressed! I Would Not Advise Anyone To Do Business With This Company Again.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! They lie about what they provide in their services. The amount of money I spent was wasted as I needed to hire another company to fix everything that was done from editing my book to marketing. They created linkedin accounts without my permission and did not give me access to my own page. They refuse to give me the credentials. When creating my website, I was told I had full ownership yet after a year, my domain expired and I was never told. When I reached out to Book Markeeters, they said i would have to pay them $3,200 to purchase my domain when I paid for it myself. Their reason was that they created the domain on their end. I had the worst experience with this company. I cut ties after working with them for 6 months yet Two years and I am still having issue with finding things they created in my name without consent. When I called to complain (yet again), they tried to get me to work with them again! The nerve of these people!!

This company is a scam! After garunteeing me 600 sold books in the first month, they charged and promised the following:Publishing $800 Beginning April 26, 2024 Creation of an Author Account - I did this myself Editing, Proofreading, and Formatting Lifetime Copyright Registration Distribution and Royalty Setup eBook Creation and Distribution Paperback Distribution ISBN Barcode Publication on Amazon *********************** and other platforms - Lie, they only publish on IngramSpark - another scam 10 Free ************************ $500 Beginning April 22, 2024 *************** Author Website Content - I created this Amazon Reviews Search Engine Optimization Awareness Campaign Engagement Campaign Search Campaign (******)Campaign optimization on *************** Amazon Author Page ***** Sec Video ******************** Page *************************************** Linked ********************************* 3 Posts/Week Fan ********************* Instagram, and ****** Paid ************************* (2 Posts/week) ********************* was assigned to carry out this service that I paid for. After the first month passed nothing was done but him sending me a large questionairre - the content of everything they said they would be doing - nothing more was done. This extremely sexist company treated me with condescension and when called out for their lack of service they ignored all communication. After demanding a refund **** agreed to send to me $1000, I was again ignored and no refund was issued. When I then reached out to support (******************* and ***** *******) to resolve the issue and get a refund I was called 5 times in a row by ****, who called in a rage, spitting into the phone and yelling at me saying I had no right to be on the website. Repeated attempts have been made to rectify this situation and they have ignored me completely. It is now July 26, 2024 and no refund has been issued and no work has been completed. They have not responded since July 8th.

Their ad promises that you will be assigned a team to work with and you can feel like you are being supported by a professional company. Their promise is Our professional editors read the entire manuscript and offer feedback and insight related to the plot, structure, characterization, dialogue, and consistency. On that one, I will call complete BS. This company is highly questionable at best. I was assigned two people with questionable familiar-sounding names but speak in heavy accents that are hard to understand. They operate like used car salesman, making promise after promise, and delivering garbage results. I ordered an audiobook I was told was professionally read, and of course I get A.I. garbage, which proves it is the same quality as everything else they do. Avoid them completely!

I'm not one to write reviews, but when something works, it deserves a shoutout. They aren't just about marketing; they're like the wingman your book never knew it needed.

I'm a first-time author and had no idea about book publishing. I've decided to work with this company relying on a large number of positive reviews. Unfortunately, the service has been mediocre at best. It took me a month to write a book and 4 months to publish and it's still not finished.1. The company charges the whole price upfront. Ultimately you have no leverage against them so you have to rely on their honesty and work ethic.2. The *** that they give you was NEVER accurate. The delays were long and constant, I had to follow up with my PM all the time, and they would occasionally respond and then nothing happened. I finally had my book published on Amazon Kindle, on April 21st, and the paperback version only on May 15. Nothing on other platforms yet, PM rarely responds or even ingores my texts.3. Editing process that was promised as a high-level ***************** is also not great. The book was edited once and that was it.English is not my first language, so it was critical for me to have it reviewed with precision and attention for both grammar and language flow. I had to re-read my own book three times myself and use "grammarly" to make corrections. Still, after publishing it as ebook, I had an English-speaking person reading it and finding a lot of issues.4. Cover creation. I've put very basic picture requirements and the first several cover samples were terrible. Upon my complaint, it seemed like a different software was used (AI possibly) to create another picture and still it was done wrong. I had to use "faceapp" on my phone to adjust the picture (pretty much create my own cover)5. I've also signed up contract for marketing for over 6 weeks ago and my PM asked me just a week ago if I have been thinking about my marketing campaign. It was obvious they forgot that we already signed the contract.Overall, I just want to finish this project and hope this company would do its bare minimum on the marketing. I will not be using this company any more.

I've paid $3,000 in October 2022 for getting my book published. To date I do not have the books. When I got in touch with two different directors, I was told the books (my 40 copies) would be mailed in two days, next week, by the end of the week, etc. I have yet to receive them. It took me five years to write the book and so far I have received nothing. Besides being angry, I am heart broken at the *******. I am a senior citizen and have been taken advantage by them.

I contracted BookMarketeers LLC in February of 2022 to help me publish my first book. The process of getting the book published took about 90 days, largely due to my inexperience with the publishing process. Once the book was in print on ****** (April 29, 2022) I was encouraged to sign up for a marketing package. The cost for 3 months advertising was $1500.00. Once I paid the money my problems started. I was asked to get professional headshots and pay for a web site (additional $700) Once I had complied with the demands or suggestions, I ask to receive a copy of their marketing plan for my book. No response. I attempted to call and have left email messages. My phone number was blocked by the representative Chris M****** that I had been working with. When the number listed is called there is a message that due to high call volume it may be some time before they can get back to the caller. I have nothing to show for the $1500. I spent for marketing services. I need my money back and help resolving this issue.
