My husband and I purchased a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado from GMC Chevrolet in Auburn, NY. Between the sale on May 31st 2022 & Today, we have added < 20k miles to the vehicle. In Feb of 2024 we had taken the truck to a shop for an oil change. this is the first time the truck has been lifted. When lifting the vehicle they found that frame damage had been covered by welding a plate, covered with under carriage spray. Due this it will not pass another NYS inspection. The shop disclosed to us that this damage did not happen in the time we had the vehicle. The next day, I was coming home from work when the truck died. It was towed to GMC Auburn, where we found that the Fuel Pump Control Module rusted. This took over a week to fix, though it can be done in a day. We owe about 21k on the vehicle, and come October when our NYS inspection expires, we will be without and still in debt due to the fact they sold us a truck with a remarkably large hole in it. I should add, that Chevrolet GMC of Auburn NY, has no documentation of our vehicle ever being inspected there. We went to Chevrolet, because that is who we trusted. Our trust has been diminished. When we bought it, from Roland Marsh, I was pregnant with our second daughter. We had asked for a safe vehicle. I asked him, if the vehicle has been inspected there, he said Yes, a lie. We have attempted to contact a dealer, in which we are ignored. I have left 9 detailed voicemails in the month of April ‘24 for Sales Manager, James. No call has been returned. I was told on the phone by receptionist that we cannot walk in to talk. This is very unprofessional. Our Truck has also depreciated in value, which is to be expected, but i do not believe we should be stuck with any of the equity, (11,000 in less than two years) for we were not disclosed on the extend of damage to the frame, and have not only been lied to, taken advantage of, and put into danger while driving this vehicle, but also neglected of professional service.Business response

To Whom It May Concern It is our legal responsibility in abiding by all legal obligations and requirements set forth by NYS when a vehicle is sold. At the time of sale, we were required to New York State Inspect the vehicle in question, which we did. The vehicle passed all NYSI guidelines at the time of sale. We spoke with ******** ************** on 4/25 and explained our position. We offered to assist the consumer in trading her out of the vehicle. She declined. We have met all of our obligations as a dealership. No further assistance is available to the consumerInitial Complaint

I recently bought a 2024 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD from auburn Chevrolet October 13 2023 in auburn Ny. The sales person told me the total price of the truck was $56990. which I did agree to because I was told that she was being up front and honest. So then a week later I was going through some papers in my truck and noticed the window sticker on my back seat along with some other papers. This sticker stated the total cost of the truck was $55840. So several emails to auburn Chevrolet and getting no answers other than them saying they have the window stickers at there location and they don’t know where the sticker came from that was in my truck. This sticker has all my trucks info on it including vin. I would like to know why they are saying the window stickers they have at the business location is different than the one I found in my truck. These people have been far from honest since the beginning so I was just seeing if there is anything I can do to find out if they scammed me for $1100. I do admit I should have looked over the paper work better , but like I said I was informed that the salesmen was being up front and honest and when I seen the window sticker a week later I was a little irritated of the price discrepancy.Business response

Our sincere apologies for the confusion. General Motors had updated the window sticker with updated pricing. This was explained to Mr. *********. If Mr. ********* still does not have the updated window sticker, please reach out to our sales manager team for assistance. We would be more than happy to provide the GM updated window sticker.
Thank you
