This company came for an estimate 10/1/2021, work was done 10/6 and paid $1296.72 in full thinking this professional company did a great job.This work was to hook up my furnaces air ducts and add a fresh air intake.The work was incompleted as the vents were not screwed in, some fell off and some were not attached properly - the newly added fresh air vent was crossed and became heat and the heat a fresh. I contacted the office on 10/14, 10/15, and a few texts to the field tech. The field tech BJ came back out 10/26, screwed in one vent and measured the other two for fabrication fittings/boxes that would be needed. BJ advised me that the new flooring that was put in previously had made the hole bigger and that was why it didn't fit. This was not factual nor was that advised on the initial estimate. BJ said he would be back to correct it. I didn't hear back, several texts requesting update or information...called the office several times to get a new date of 11/5 between 9-10am. It was a no show, no call nothing...when I called the office they said they had some elderly people who needed heat. I kept calling and no one called back or responded. I then called the owner Mike and heard a bunch of excuses, repeated excuses, and no communication, no shows and repeated blatant lies is no way to do business. I advised I just wanted this fixed I have an 80 year old mother living with me and I can not continue to heat my basement - I just need it fixed or refunded to get someone else out here to complete/fix this work. I threatened small claims court. Again I was told by Mike that someone was going to come out last week and nothing, again he said if no one comes he will be here himself to fix it by Wednesday. Wednesday about 1:30 2 guys just showed up, no communication or notification. This is a waste of my time as a consumer to have to follow up repeatedly and plan on people coming and don't...this was a lot of money by "professionals" I hope this does not happen to anyone else nor pay this high amount of money to get something done. This was a fiasco of problems, crap job, lousy installation - incomplete job, no communication. Kozy as a business should not be in business if they can not handle the jobs they are taking.
