I would like to review my ***** ** **** ***** Hearing aids by *******, and the provider Innovative Hearing - under my ****** ********** ******* account. I ordered the hearing aids on 2 January 2023 , paid for them in February, and finally fitted them on 9 March 2023. The hearing aids started failing almost immediately after the three follow-up visits - going dead for a few hours and usually they would work again after a few hours in the charger. The left one failed for a few days in early August and after waiting two weeks to see the provider (******** *******) and I changed the filter the provider changed the filter again and declared the hearing aid cured. The hearing aids both failed and would not charge on August 16. I had to make an appointment to turn them in on August 22. I had to make an appointment to pick up the 'repaired' hearing aids on August 29. The right hearing aid failed less than 12 hours later on 30 August and I turned it in. The left hearing aid quit on 16 October and I dropped it off on 20 Oct 2023. I picked up both new hearing aids on 7 November. The provider Innovative Hearing has charged me a $65 'appointment fee' for dropping off the hearing aids on 20 October 23. I refused to pay the fee and they have turned me over to a collection agency. I called ****** ********** ******* and was told that the provider said they 'serviced' the hearing aids when I dropped them off and can charge me. I called ******* and was told they have no control or interest in what the providers do. I am very disappointed in Innovative Hearing, ****** ********** *******, and *******.Customer response
