Clover an I stop doin business 7 months ago but the are still holding on to customers funds for vehicles which isnt rite This should be looked at an addressedBusiness response

We have no idea who this person is. We searched name. address, and phone number. If the customer can provide an account number or last 4 of social, or other addresses that have been used, or other names, we will review.Initial Complaint

I bought a car with this bank and the repossessed my 2012 ****** maxima in 2020 and they still have the loan open and now i cant get anything if i tried to apply i need help im trying to get a new car but the people told me that i was denied because i have a open auto loan with this bank and i dontBusiness response

****************** does have an open account with this company. If he would like the account to be closed then he has to pay for the remaining balance. ****************** is aware that there is still an unpaid balance because we have had discussions with him. ****************** should contact us at ************ to discuss his account.Initial Complaint

Contacted Debt collector asked for proof of the alleged debt specifically the alleged original application bearing my signature they have not been able to provide such proof to me therefore you are reporting misleading false account. Delete this unverified and misleading account.Business response

Clover Commercial Corp is not a debt collector. We are the consumer finance company that provided financing for *********************** and his co-signor ************************* for a **** Van that they purchased in August/September of 2015. She was provided a copy of the contract by the dealer that sold her her the vehicle. In addition, Clover Commercial Corp sent her a copy of the contract. ******************** defaulted on her payments and the account was referred to an attorney for collection. A lawsuit was commenced to collect the outstanding balance. ******************** signed a stipulation of settlement, a copy of which was mailed to her, and then defaulted on those payments. She eventually paid off the account in 2019.
We have not heard from ******************** since March of 2019 when she called to get the balance to payoff the account. ******************** never called to question the account or the reporting to the credit bureaus and never asked for proof because she was aware of the account. In addition, the credit bureaus have the correct reporting as paid collection accounts. We stopped reporting to the credit bureaus when the account was paid in full in May 2019.
If ******************** would like to discuss her account with us then maybe she should actually attempt to contact our office before filing an unfounded complaint.

The account suppose to be closeted and its messing up my credit on my report it say its updated like I still have the car it need to be closed since 2016Business response

The account for ********************************* is being reported as open because the account is still open. Once the account is paid in full then we will report as paid. If ********************************* has any questions with regards to her account or how it is being reported then she should contact us directly. yall are wrong and yall the only people that does this fix the problem all yall do is rob people and mess up they credit yall know the dealership was shut down for selling unfit cars and still never try and resolve the issue

Very simply I feel that according to my calculations under the *** Banking laws that they have over charged me on late fees, which amount to ***** plus per fee, U asked them if they could work with me and they basically said no!Try even my mortgage company which my payment is 3 times the amount only charges ***** dollars, really reprehensible people to deal with pls help.Business response

In addition to making a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, ******************** has also filed a complaint with the ************** of ********* Services. Rather than respond twice and have two agencies involved with the same complaint, we have chosen to answer the complaint to the ************** of ********* Services. ******************** will get a copy of our response.
