On May 20, 2022, I signed a contract with Abble Awning ********* to fabricate and install a permanent awning costing $1600. The installation was done in June, 2022; however, within the last couple of months we've noticed that after it rains, a puddle collects in one corner of the awning and the weight of the water is creating a pocket. We have been calling Abble Awning for over a month now to let them know of the problem, and are told that someone would be here over the weekend; the latest being this past weekend, and like the 3 other weekends that have past, no one has shown up.This problem gets worse every time it rains and I'm at the point now where they either show up to repair, replace, or refund my money so that I can have an awning done by a more reputable company. Since all I get from the woman that answers the phone is lip service, I'd appreciate your help in resolving this matter.Thank you.***********************Customer response

Was contacted by, I believe, the owner of Abble Awning who apologized for the mishandling of my complaint and the awning was fixed immediately thereafter. I am happy with the results, thank BBB for their assistance, and the complaint can be closed with no further action required. Thank you.

We hired this awning company to put up a retractable awning at our house, and they did so without issues. There came a time we were we were doing some renovations, so we paid them to remove the awning, which they did and we paid them to reinstall the awning, which they did, however, when they reinstalled the awning, it was not placed in the proper position, so it cannot be opened because it hits the perpendicular roof gutter. It seems that the awning needs to be moved perhaps 6 inches away from the perpendicular roof gutter, and re-bolted to the roof. Over the summer, they sent a worker to do it, but he said he did not have the proper tool and would come back.Since then, no one has come back, they ignored our emails, and those times I managed to get someone on the phone, they assured me that they would set up an appointment forthwith.This has been going on for months now, and unless they want to fix it themselves, which we already paid for, we will hire someone else to do it, and seek to recover the money we paid, plus what it cost us to hire someone else.Customer response
