I brought my **** in to have a problem diagnosed. I received a call it would be $800 to fix and I politely declined to see what my other options were with the vehicle. I decided to take photos so I can sell the car and upon doing so, when I opened the hood, I saw half my air intake broken with broken clips. I called them, and asked if the car was in this condition when he received it, and he said it was not. He also continued and said, "it wouldn't make any difference whether if it was put back together or not", and said "he was lucky I didn't charge you". This happened on march 1st, 2024. I don’t know the full extent to the damage they did, but he also admitted to the damage that was done. The person on the phone also seemed not to care at all for my situation, and also did not offer any solution. My plan was to sell the car for a cheaper price due to the initial damage, but now with all the extra damage (I can’t afford another tow or to fix it) I don’t know if I will get much at all for it.Business response

BBB spoke with the owner who said that they took the air cleaner off and noticed that something had blown the intake manifold apart. The business offered to replace the air cleaner at no charge and did not charge for the diagnosis.
