      Hi, it the vehicle I brought from the dealership. Brought in 5/26/24 2009 ***** ******** Lt for 5934.00 cash. I want a refund they refused. My machacine was looking under my truck yesterday July 8th to try fix the 4x4 and they noticed a lots of patches on the body frame. They passed the inspection at their shop which it against law and lemon law. Not safe for our children’s to ride in too and please help me out thank you

      hello sir I remember this customer he was deaf and came with his wife he drove 1 1/2 hours away we had a issue with the 4x4 not working we agreed for him to take it to his mechanic and get it fixed since he lived far away and we would pay for the repair. he looked under the car before making his decisions to buy the vehicle he seen under the car and drove it i also mention to his wife the frame is patch and i believe she explained to him as he is deaf and can't speak. after giving them there copy i told them i have to write patch frame on are copy since i already gave them there attached paper they said okay. there mechanic called us and started making it sound like the car is not safe which is not true and was very very rude on the phone here is a picture that are copy says patch frame.
      i also helped him on the price of the car as he drove away to come buy the car and was very intrested in the car.

      on February 29 2024 my father ***** ****** and myself ******* ****** went to A&E auto located at 423 W Service RD Binghamton NY 13901 after test driving a couple cars me and my father decided on the cars that we wanted, i got a 2014 ******** **** the owner informed me it needed a ball join and the o2 sensor to give him a couple days I picked up my ******** on Saturday after driving it i noticed the wheel was still making a noise. i called the dealership the next week to ask him about it and that my dads car also needed some minor things done he said to bring them in. they still needed to replace the ball joint but they were busy so call Monday next week. once the next week came he had my dad bring his car in first so at least one of us had a car if needed during this time i realized that none of the buttons on the steering wheel worked or the horn. I ended up taking my car in just before Easter weekend with the understanding the part would be in Thursday then the part would be in the fouling Tuesday then Thursday then it was the wrong part he said its a clock spring I need and its hard to find after another week it would be in on Wednesday i beleave it was about April 19 my dad took me down to see what exactly was going on he said he order the part it was wrong and they were waiting on a new one but the car was fine to drive that they fixed the ball joint and o2 sensor he would call me when the clock spring came in so i ended up taking it home on the way the wheel made the same sound and the light on the dash came on. after two weeks i called 2 before he answered and he said they fixed the ball join and sensor i also let him know that the clock spring being broken makes it dangerous to drive. he said that is not true and I should stop talking to my friends they are giving me bad advice and to bring it in Monday May 13 he will order the part and fix it as well as look at the ball joint free of charge

      I purchased a 2009 ***** ********* from the business. Less than a month later the vehicle had transmission problems. I called the business and was told to call back the following week to make an appointment to bring the vehicle in. I continued to call for said appointment to no avail. So, as a result I had to take the vehicle to a ***** dealer to find the issue and make appropriate repairs. The ***** dealer informed me that the transmission was full of engine coolant. I was also informed of a hole in the frame of the vehicle. I then went to the business to make a complaint about the unprofessional response to the vehicle issue, to which they gave a credit of $400.00 towards the vehicle payments. I now am having issues again with the transmission as well as not able to get the vehicle inspected due to the hole in the frame. which I believe to have been there from the start since I have had the vehicle 1 year on February 18th of 2024.

      this is proof the customer was making payments every month  with no issues no compliments . new York requires one month warranty and he had the car over 1 year and this is new York car used car as well. so I don't know what the customer is trying to say but its not tru

      I took my car to A & E auto for a transmission to be put in, the owner said that the cost would be 720.00 plus the amount for transmission fluid an additional 80.00. About two weeks later he said the transmission was put in and my car wouldn’t start. They tried to figure out why it wouldn’t start but couldn’t. I then had to have my car towed to a ****** dealership as my cars transmission needed to be “flashed@ to my car. When I spoke to a rep from ****** they told me that no transmission fluid was put in, not only but that my coolant was empty and power steering fluid is empty. They never put the fluids back in my car. Also they dropped or somehow broke my starter and now I’m being told from ****** that all the stuff that needs to be done to my car is going to cost me close to or more than 1,000.00 for all repairs and fluids. I’m understanding of the cost to “flash” my transmission, but the owner should refund the money he charged for transmission fluid and all my other fluids that were not put back in and the starter which there was nothing wrong with it.

      This customer did come in to have their transmission changed out. However, they came with their own transmission from a junkyard. We did not purchase it for them. We made it clear to them that it was not under warranty. We did replace it for them. We did put 5 quarts of transmission fluid in the vehicle but when you can't start a vehicle after replacing the transmission you cannot add the other fluids because the fluids have to be added while the vehicle is running to bleed the power steering and to add as the engine and transmission are running. They stated that we broke their starter, we had nothing to do with their starter. However, we did provide them with a starter to avoid any issues with the customer.  She has an auto starter car and we tried everything to start it. We purchased the Trans fluid. Mr. ****** stated he was going to get another transmission and argued with us to not charge for labor. The owner said, "No I am not going to replace it, I am giving you a refund back for the labor of $400" and we will call it even. He- Mr. ****** asked if he could use my shop to fix the car himself. I told him on the weekend only. He was fine with that. He was a mechanic. He wanted a job here and I didn't offer one. My secretary was out sick with covid and his wife offered to come in and do her job while she was out and I said no. I feel this is a personal complaint against me.       I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.  I read their response and it couldn’t be further from the truth. I did say he replaced the starter and yes they did break it (****** can confirm) they broke the used transmission in two places (I have the paperwork from ******). Yes my husband offered to work for him as I did and this was before we received the news from ******. I submitted my complaint as soon as I got word from ****** as to why my car wouldn’t start. They didn’t know everything at first until they started my car. Everything worked on my car when I took my car to A & E. They did not guarantee the transmission as I had a 6 month warranty from ****** * **** ** (junkyard). He guaranteed their work. I was charged 800.00 in total. A&E did pay 400.00 towards the ****** bill. That is for the diagnosis as to why they couldn’t start my car, for the labor for starter to get put in by ******, it was not for the transmission at all. Since I sent my complaint in ****** discovered my air conditioning doesn’t work now. When my transmission got replaced at ****** they said they did not have to “drop my motor as A & E did and did not completely hook everything up so now I have to take it back to the shop. Regards, ***** ******

      I bought a mini van two weeks ago from him it was illegally inspected, the motor is knocking they told me that the engine light was on due to a o2 sensor . I took it to a mechanic and they pointed out more than one issue with the vehicle.

      Per this complaint, we gave a full refund back to the customer ***** ******, we have the receipts to show the refund. The vehicle was not under warranty for certain parts on the vehicle. The van was brought back with broken mirrors on the passenger side. We still gave a full refund due to confrontation. The vehicle was not inspected illegally we had it inspected at another service shop because we do not do our own inspections.

      I took it to them to have a noise coming from the back fix and because my car wasn’t gaining speed when pushing on the gas. He told me the noise was coming from the front and said the reason it wasn’t gaining speed was because there was no transmission fluid in it. He then said he fixed the noise and added transmission fluid , he cleared the the code. I picked the car up and pulled away I got maybe a mile away, and the noise was still there and the car still wasn’t gaining power (speed). I called him and told him and told him the car isn’t fixed he replied with “ bring it back and we can do the back” I said the issue was the back to begin with. He said we didn’t repair anything just cleared the code.I said you can’t do that and charge me the money for the repair. I brought I back to him to get the repair done again the next day. He then told me it was done again. Went and got my car and drove off the lot again and the noise came back and it still wasn’t accelerating again. I then took it too another car shop to get the work done. He told me I owed him 340 I paid half of it we were on a payment arrangement. He then asked for the rest and I explained to him I will pay you when I have a chance that I’ve been stuck working 12-16 hrs a day do too our Covid unit reopening. He then upped by bill to 490 and I said I’m not paying that.

      I should not have to pay the remaining balance because they did not resolve the issues I was having with my vehicle. They told me multiple times that the issues were fix and I can come pick up my vehicle and not even a day later the issues were back. Then when I would message him about it he would say we just cleared the code I explained to him multiple times I do not want the code cleared I want the issue resolved. He said to bring it back and they would fix it again. Which I did and he then again just cleared the code and sent me on my way. I shouldn’t pay 1000 all together for cleared codes. So I gave him some money. He then refused to fix it. Which is why I do not feel I should have to pay the remaining balance for him not resolving the issues like he claimed he did everytime.

      This is a conversation I had with ****** *****. Also, a written estimate from my Service Mechanic stating how much the work would cost. When she wouldn't pay, and I kept asking for payments or told her I was taking her to court she blocked me on my phone and **. I contacted her sister to tell her for payment. I found her number on the BBB complaint and looked it up and found these same messages showing the conversation about the work we did on her vehicle and that she still has not paid for the service we did do.       The business still refused to fix the issue even after telling me the car was done and went to pick it up I still have him the $100 which should bring my total too $200 but somehow he is getting $490. This is after he said the car was done . I was still having the issues and got charged for it.
