      I contacted Tim Rumrill about a quote to instal a chain link fence around our home on 10/13/21. He said he will do the work during the first week of December 2021. It will be done in 1 day. I paid for a city permit and I sent a signed agreement to Tim on 11/10/21. Total cost was going to be $5,985 and Tim asked for $3;985 down which he cashed on 11/30/2021. After he cashed the check we have not heard back from him. I still have to keep calling him to find out why he does not do the installation. He had several days to do it during the first two weeks of December as agreed. As resolution I would to get my money back or he needs to instal the fence this month as agreed. I would appreciate your help with solving this problem.

      We have been under quarantine, had our help out and in the hospital with COVID-19, our son also just was released  12/27 from quarantine. We will be there as soon as we can, we have discussed this with the customer as well

      Better Business Bureau:
      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

      We can not wait indefinitely, not knowing a date if/when the business is coming to install the fence. The city permit has a January 20, 2021 deadline for work completion. We have been waiting for nearly 5 weeks for the fence already. Considering the weather will get worse and snow is coming, we would like to find out if this business is able to complete the work before January 20th. The owner is not calling us back.

      Response taken by phone:  We had some delays due to covid and concerns for the safety of our customers and our crew.   The weather was also a factor  but we were able to get the job completed.
