Good day: It's been a long road since closing on my home in my 2020. To make a long story short, my house incorrectly passed an air infiltration inspection (inspected by ******************* of *********** solutions) therefore I bought a home without a C of O. *** construction, the builder, contracted ***** to insulate my home. since closing on this home, my family and I uncovered quite a bit of insulation issues in the home. including mold growth inside my basement walls and a very drafty home, in all. The battle with the builder and **** was fought for over a year , having to call a mold company and another inspector who works for RESNET to give an accurate read on whether or not the house passed the air infiltration test. after pain staking follow through I have found 1. sill plates were not sealed 2. the attic spray foam was not completed. 3. MY home should HAVE never passed inspection, therefore the home should have never been sold.Fast forwarding, the sill plates and attic were completed. The final issue is my 1 year old son bedroom. Its a first floor annexed room with nonaccessible roof. I asked ***** to fix that room, and they have ignored me again. *** construction , the contractor believes his c of o protects him, therefore he feels is has NO part to fix the home this has proven *** construction is delusional and to be a terrible company to do business with. If ***** has come twice to fix some majors in my home, both attic and the basement sill plate WHY not complete the job to prevent mold growth in my home? Or to perhaps maintain the heat in the winter and cool air in the winter? This room is a glorified pantry. Have they come back and intentional damaged my home prior?
