In May 2023, I completed a stay with *********************** Hoopla Doopla offered cashback for Marriott stays, which amounted to $46.04. These earnings have been showing in my account since May 2023. According to their FAQ, the earnings were supposed to be paid after a 90-day waiting period. After this period, the earnings are to be paid in the next quarter, meaning the payment date should have been in the last quarter of 2023. It is now June 2024, and my earnings have not been paid yet. Hoopla Doopla claims they are waiting for the money from Marriott. This is contrary to their terms, which state that the earnings will be paid after a 90-day waiting period. I have repeatedly emailed them for an update and often receive sparse replies. Sometimes, I have to use an email address other than the official support one ********************************* to get a response. I completed the Magnifi cash back offer via Hoopla Doopla. I provided proof to Hoopla Doopla that I completed the offer. Hoopla Doopla advertised a payout of $50, however they haven't tracked or paid out anything. Hoopla Doopla is not cooperating because they won't reply to any of my emails which is unprofessional. Hoopla Doopla's practice is very misleading, other customers have faced similar issues with **********************.Business response

The member opened a support ticket with us on this order that was not showing up in their account. We replied back to the member notifying them that the merchant, *******, was in fact contacted regarding the untracked order status. The reply also mentioned that the investigation can take some time to get a reply back from the merchant, as they can often experience high volumes of requests. The member was told that due to this, the response time is on the merchants end, not ours, and we will reply back with a status on the order once we hear from the merchant. As stated on our website, turnaround times cant take weeks, sometimes months to resolve.Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:It's been over 8 months since the purchase, how much longer is it going to take? Hoopla Doopla keeps claiming it's going to take more time. Hoopla Doopla does not reply to any emails when I ask for an update. I've never had this issue of no tracking of cash back after this much time with other cash back companies like Rakuten. Based off other complaints with the same issue, Hoopla Doopla operations seems to be a scam.

I placed an order with **** Club using the Hoopla shopping portal. The order qualifies for 5 percent cash back according to hooplas terms and conditions. The earnings were never paid. I have reached out to hoopla four times about this matter over the span of one month. The first time, I was told to reach back out if earning had not posted by the end of the week. When earnings did not post, I reached back out and received no response. I have reached out two more times since, both with no response. The company does not pay as promised and does not respond to customer inquiries about missing earnings.Customer response

HooplaDoopla is a cash back website that is supposed to provide cash back for using a redirect link from their site to various merchants. I attempted to make a purchase at Magnifi, which HooplaDoopla was offering a $50 cash back for signing up to a monthly subscription when clicking the link through their website. Initially HooplaDoopla tracked the purchase on July 21, however the Magnifi purchase was a 7 day trial after which the monthly subscription would start. The $14 purchase for Magnifi did not get processed until July 29, by which point the purchase tracking on HooplaDoopla disappeared. I have attempted to contact HooplaDoopla support a couple times on this issue to no avail - they do not respond to support requests.Initial Complaint

A cashback company that baits you into purchasing but does not have any communication for follow **** It has been 3 weeks since my transaction (May 19th 2023) and I have yet to receive my cashback resolved, nor has my referral been processed. This company is freely taking my data and misleading customers. They have not contacted me back at all via email.Customer response

The Hoopla Doopla website (*************************) offers users cash back on purchases through various online stores if the user clicks on a link on the ***************************************** website to make purchases from those stores.The website claims to offer "8.8% cash back on everything you buy" from a vendor named AliExpress (*****************************************).I made 3 orders on AliExpress through the Hoopla Doopla website on November 30, 2022 on AliExpress, for a total of $52.65 which are as follows:AliExpress Order: **************** $6.41 AliExpress Order **************** $2.20 AliExpress Order **************** $44.04 These 3 transactions were recorded on the Hoopla Doopla website, and I expected to receive 8.8% in cash back ($4.63), but my account was only credited ****% in cash back ($0.59).This is obviously not "8.8% cash back on everything you buy" and there is no FAQ or fine print that I can find on the Hoopla Doopla website to explain this discrepancy. I have tried to contact the business through the "Contact" link on their website but they have not replied.I believe that this is false advertising, and I would like to be credited the "8.8% cash back on everything you buy" that is posted prominently on the Hoopla Doopla website.Customer response

This company is false advertising! This has happened multiple times with this company. They advertise cashback for using their website and linking to merchant websites to make purchases. I have complained to them unsuccessfully multiple times regarding problems and they have stopped responding and are not replying to my complaint.I am fully qualified for cashback for my purchases and I have followed their terms and conditions. The items I purchased were not a restricted category and also not restricted on the terms and conditions. But they have stated that the item is not qualified for cashback and I asked them for reasoning. I have stated the facts that the item does qualify for cashback and have given the the proof and they have not responded.I have followed all terms and conditions and I am qualified for cashback.This is their terms and conditions below:eBay 2.1% Cash Back On everything you buy. * ********* Now * CASH BACK FOR EACH PURCHASE IS CAPPED AT $50.00. Completed offer for Curiosity Stream via ****************. Did not receive credit. Reached out to their support email. They were very very slow to respond, taking 1-3 weeks for some replies. I supplied proof of my Curiosity Stream purchase receipt. They wanted an order number. I specifically told them Curiosity Stream does not provide order numbers for any purchases and showed direct correspondence with Curiosity Stream displaying that. The Hoopla Doopla support did not follow up with my last reply sent on 9.16.21 and did not update my account earnings for the purchase either. I suspect they are ignoring me on purpose or trying to scam me.Customer response

The company emailed me about 2 weeks ago and I replied back again. Haven't heard from them since. I provided the email for my curiosity stream account so they can check with curiosity to verify the purchase.
