I had Eric install a bathroom in my basement for my mother . It was built with a cheaper material that I consulted with Eric asking him if it would work. He advised it would so he constructed it with it . This was built in January. A lot of pieces of trim and other material have been popping out for the past few months . Other issues noticed was light switches were installed upside down , toilet not anchored to concrete, and a wooden support beam exposed to moisture. I contacted Eric about this on September 26 regarding this issue. I wanted to see if he was willing to fix . He stated there was a warranty that expired a few months ago . The problem is this not a warranty issue rather work was not done right . Regardless of material, some of these things should have been done correctly first time . I have to now pay a handyman 415 dollars to fix . I paid 5000 not even 10 months ago for bathroom.Business response

Andrew reached out to me on September 26th regarding some issues with trim coming loose. It was expressed to Andrew prior to contract signing that the material he picked out would effect the longevity and finished product of the bathroom. (Noted on contract) We do offer a 6 month labor and quality warranty however as noted we relinquished liability of this on Andrew’s project as he furnished all the materials. In regards to the toilet it was brought up prior to installing it regarding the anchoring. This is not a standard toilet as there’s no wax ring to seal the toilet to the drain. The drain is self contained within the toilet which pushes water from waste tank up to a sewer line (up flush) at the time of install the toilet was attached to the concrete with adhesive as Andrew did not want to spend the money on anchors. Andrew was completely satisfied with the results as toilet was completely stiff on the floor. I am rather confused as after speaking to Andrew about the trim issue he wanted to more done by our company. We take our customer satisfaction very seriously and pride our selfs on our ability to provide the best customer experience as possible, however it was explained to Andrew many times that his choices in material and strong urge to cut corners to save a buck would greatly effect his project.
