I purchased two rings from Iroquois in an online sale through *************** on January 1, 2022. I paid my ($264) invoice promptly by my business check as the owner did not accept credit cards. When my payment was received by the auction house, I was sent a ship quote from the “shipper” Ron N****, that Iroquois works with exclusively. The owner, Gerald P**** DID NOT OFFER AN ALTERNATIVE LOCAL SHIPPER IN THE AREA. As a seller of fine antiques for over 25 years, when I received the quote, I felt the price was too much for the service provided, but there was no alternative. I called the owner to ask if there was another shipper he could recommend. Mr. P**** was rude, argumentative and sided with his shipper and SUGGESTED THAT I TRY TO FIND ANOTHER SHIPPER! To add insult to injury, HE FRAUDULENTLY OPENED A DISPUTE for NON-PAYMENT WITH ***************, KNOWING FULLY THAT MY INVOICE WAS PAID IN FULL. This DISHONEST REPORTING directly affects my ability to bid with other auction houses through the *************** platform. Finally, after contacting *************** multiple times, the dispute was closed in my favor. On Feb. 11 2022, I emailed Iroquois and attached a pre-paid label for them to send me the three rings and he refused. Mr. P**** now has MY $264, THE RINGS, AND THE LABEL. At this point, I want a refund.
