    Pattern of Complaint:

    On January 12, and February 3, 2022, BBB attempted to contact Kaizen Lighting regarding a pattern of serious complaints. BBB received complaints in the past 36 months alleging:

    advanced payment for merchandise that is ordered and not delivered. Consumers state that when they try to get updated information on the order status, the business is responsive at first but then no contact can be made with the business.

    The complaints allege the business collected advance payments ranging from $700 to $1806. The business failed to respond to all of the complaints through BBB’s complaint process.

    BBB notified Kaizen Lighting about the pattern of complaints and asked the business to voluntarily cooperate in eliminating the pattern by providing a written response outlining the specific steps it would implement in order to avoid similar complaints in the future. BBB also requested general background information, the names & full contact information of the business’ principal officers and responsible management, the physical address of its principal office and a completed BBB Standard Business Questionnaire.

    As of February 25, 2022, Kaizen Lighting has not responded regarding the pattern of complaints or BBB's requests for information. BBB has concerns about Kaizen Lighting’s business practices and urges consumers to use caution based on their complaint activity and lack of responsiveness.

      Original correspondence promised delivery of product on 3 months (end of April). Seller promised each month it will ship and photos of progress but never provided anything. Twice printed shipping labels saying items are ready to ship and will be dropped off but did not ship. Used these shipping labels to give appearance progress is being made. Also when shipping information did ship it was a printed copy of the invoice. On 7/31, a phone conversation was had and Seller said if item did not ship by end of August, a full refund would be provided. Seller now will not provide a refund or product.

      purchased 1/13/23 a set of custom headlights for $850 plus $43.95 for shipping. keep getting dates of completion and even a tracking number at one point but it never got picked up and eventually got deleted. dates keep coming and going and emails keep saying just running behind. order number is ********

      Purchased headlights from Kaizen on 11/22/21 in the amount of $784.80. In the beginning excellent communication was made aware of that it would be end of January 2022 before they shipped. Have made numerous attempts and here we are over a year later no product no response. Send me my product or give me my money back. Will be contacting my bank today to start a dispute. I also made numerous attempts to contact about me moving and needed to update my address.

      Submitted pre-order payment for a product (cup holder for a ******* *******) from Kaizen Lighting LLC in the amount of $124.60 on 8/5/2022 (order confirmation number *******). Kept in contact with seller about when this item would be shipped. Was notified on 11/17/2022 that it was being shipped that day, however never received the product. Requested an update, delivery of product, or refund of purchase price by 12/9/0222. However, no response from seller or refund received after 11/17/2022. All communication is in my possession if needed.

      I paid for headlamps for my vehicle in January of 2022. I was assured the lamps would ship within a week. I have back and forth emails with the business that include several promised shipping dates that were never fulfilled. As of August 2022 my.order is unfulfilled. I'm contemplating pressing fraud charges through the local authorities in New York at this point.

      Ordered a set of lights in July of 2020 for 850.00 USD payed up front, was told there would be a 3-6 month delay. After after which was promised end of month every month after. It has now been two years nothing received, asked for a refund and will not respond to messages at this point. This businesses needs to be shut down and face legal action. There are dozens of others experiencing this same scenario

      On October 22, 2021, I ordered a set of headlights for a 06-08 ****** ******** to the tune of $688. At first, things seemed normal, and I got a few emails back saying they should be done near the start of 2022. However, I haven't heard from them since January, despite never receiving the product. Given the trend of these other complaints, this is nothing new for Kaizen. I will be contacting my lawyer if this goes on much longer.

      I ordered a set of custom headlights from kaizen in April of 2021 for a little over $1,000 and at first they would respond with they are waiting for parts for the headlights, now coming up on a year and they have lost all communication with me. Numerous other people are going through the same thing as me right now a simple look on their ******** page will show that they are scamming numerous others.

      I ordered custom headlights from this company back in August of 2021. August 15th, I believe. I was told I was to receive my headlights in 3 months. I have yet to receive my headlights as of today. I have sent multiple emails to the company and they have assured me multiple times I would receive my order. However, in the last month they have stopped responding. This company has stolen $1200 from me. I would like my headlights, or a refund. I have my order slip from them and all emails.

      On January 30, 2021 I ordered replacement headlights from Kaizen Lighting, because they had 5 star reviews and claimed to ship out within 3 months. I have reached out to this seller every 2 months since making my order, and he only replied 3 times. Every time he claims that my order is coming up next and it will ship out soon. I have not recieved any reply to my final inquiry sent this month. I am not the only person that he is lying to, there are plenty of bad reviews on the Kaizen Lighting LLC ******** page to back up my case. He keeps changing the expected dates on his online customers and is lying to many of us. I have 8 supporting JPG images of reviews, emails, and a reciept that I feel I need to provide to further explain my situation- and the validity of my claims. This guy has scammed several customers that I am aware of, he likes to wait a long time to make chargebacks or resolutions more difficult. He has not responded to any of my emails or to the review I left on his ******** page.
