I recently had an incredibly disappointing and distressing experience with Clarkson Locksmith located at 10 Ellis Drive, Brockport NY and I feel compelled to warn others, especially the elderly, about their predatory practices. I called Clarkson Locksmith to drill 2 holes in 2 doors so security company could put key locks on the doors. The initial quote they gave over the phone was $300.00, which seemed high.. However, when the locksmith arrived, he immediately stated the job was hard and seemed shady. The locksmith they sent was Adam. Once the job was done, he handed my mother an outrageous bill for $646.00! Feeling pressured and vulnerable, my mother felt she had no choice but to pay. When I called the company to dispute the charges, they were extremely rude and dismissive. My mother called the company 8 times and was told the manager would get back to her. After multiple attempts no one returned her call This company clearly preys on vulnerable individuals, exploiting their need for urgent help to price gouge and scam them out of their hard-earned money. Their lack of transparency, dishonest pricing, and unprofessional behavior are completely unacceptable. I urge everyone to steer clear of Clarkson Locksmith and seek out a reputable, trustworthy locksmith service. Protect yourself and your loved ones from being taken advantage of by these unscrupulous people.
