Although Mr. Carlson and his crew were polite, his work lacks a perfectionism and professionalism expected when dealing with a company that is a LLC and that supposedly has an A- BBB rating. I was told my bathroom remodel would be completed in a week and a half. I understand there maybe some delays or issues, I’m a reasonable person, it took 3 weeks, and the last day he showed up for the last payment the job was still not complete. The walk-in shower grout was never sealed as it should’ve been. All grout should be sealed. The nail holes on the molding were never filled. The paint job in the bathroom looks as though an amateur did it. There are mud marks that were not sanded correctly as well as parts of the wall not painted evenly. He didn’t fix the baseboard heater that was broke. (It needed a bracket to hold it up. His excuse was that’s how it was.) He put the shower head in too low. I’m 5’9”. The shower head is only at 5”11”. Hopefully no one tall visits. He never put a toilet escutcheon plate back when he replaced the toilet. When he hung the mirror and light, they were hung way too low. I told him to hang them to fit me bc I was tall. If I am standing in front of it, my head is cut off. He didn’t split the two lights that were in bathroom so the bathroom fan and both lights are on the same light switch; one light switch. I wanted two. I did get and extra outlet; it’s crooked. He cut a hole in my spare room wall to gain access to the shower to put a value, didn’t put a door there. He mudded it over and was going to paint it. When I brought all these issues up, he didn’t seem to care. He was like well I guess I could fix it. I asked him to reduce the price. He then was like I didn’t charge you for this or I did this. I kicked him out of my house bc I was so frustrated. I didn’t want them in my house for 3 more days of work. Repainting, sanding, mudding, or anything else. I am highly disappointed. I don’t recommend this contractor which hurts me to say this

On 5/10/23, Mr Carlson and co-worker return to my house to remedy to situation from June 2022. He had contacted me the week prior to correct the situation and issues at his expense. He fixed the spare room mudding and put a door access to the backside shower pipes. He moved the light and mirror up so that i am no longer cut off at the head (which is greatly appreciated). He fixed the painting/ mudding issues in the bathroom. He also waterproofed the grout. He put an escutcheon ring on the toilet pipe, and he fixed the heating grate. He sanded down the sharp edges on the shower encove where the shampoo was placed. He also replaced the drywall downstairs to its original place. I appreciate Mr. Carlson reaching out to rectify the situation. He and his crew were very polite and professional. I am happy this situation was able to come to a positive resolution and conclusion. I’m happy with this outcome.
