I bought a 2013 *** x3 from SureCar on April 2023. I believe I was sold a lemon as the car started having engine problems in June 2023. When I went to return to SureCar to talk to them about the problem they were gone. The business had shut down. I also believe I was sold a vehicle that was priced too high.Customer response

Surecar sold me a vehicle on July 16, 2023 without any title or registration. The company stated they would mail me the license plates with documents (title and registration) and it never happened. I do not have any documents to have the vehicle registered. Surecar does not answer any phone calls and when I went in person to the dealership, they were no longer available. The ****************** across the street stated they left about a month ago and now I have no one to help me with my situation. I paid a down payment for the vehicle, registration fees, and even 2 car payments to the bank (**** *****). I would like to have the title for my vehicle and have the registration for it since I already paid for it.Customer response

On July 25 I purchased a 2018 ******** **** GLC 300. I was told that I would receive the registration for the vehicle within 45 days. I never received the registration. I received notice that Surecar closed their business and filed for bankruptcy without filing the registration. As I did more research, I noticed a dealership in **** has possession of the title. Im unable to obtain the title and need assistance to resolve the issue.Initial Complaint

On July 23, 2023 I placed a $900 cash deposit on a 2016 *** X 3. I was no longer interested in the purchase so I requested a refund of the $900 on July 29, 2023. I still have not received my refund to date and Im afraid that Surecar is either out of business or moved. There is no answer at any time when I call and upon going to the address listed, the building is closed with no signs of life currently there.Customer response
