Animal Cruelty and Scammers I booked this petting zoo for my childs party for one hour. They dropped off the animals on time with a half a bucket of feed and left the attendant with the animals after hitting one goat for head butting the other goat. Two hours after the petting zoo arrived, the attendant told me that the company would be picking them ** in an hour. After the party had ended and everyone had left, the animals and attendant were still there and were not picked up until four hours after they were supposed to be picked up.When we had the attendant call again, she said they were getting gas. Then a half hour later we had the attendant call again and they said they had to stop at a gas station, the wind was preventing them from getting there sooner, they had other jobs and plenty of other excuses. Four large animals were left in an 8x8 (if it was even that big) enclosed area for 6 hours and we had to start feeding them fruit from the dessert table and they ate all the grass in the enclosure because they were not left with enough food. At one point the attendant tied one animal up because it was head butting the other animal. There was not enough room for these animals to move freely for hours. The animals were neglected, not healthy looking and treated poorly. Pony Express expects a 50% non-refundable deposit and then cash on arrival for the balance. When the trailer came I asked the man if he needed anything he said just the balance and left the attendant and animals. I wish I didnt pay them until they picked everything up. Because they were picked up after the party had ended and after and 3 hours after i had the venue booked, we incurred a late fee from the venue of $150. When I emailed Pony Express about wanting that amount refunded, they never responded. This is a terrible business and Im pretty sure they are scammers. Do not book with this company. You will be very disappointed if you do.

I am sorry to say this, but your review about my animals comes from your lack of knowledge of live stock. These enclosures have been approved both by animal exhibit regulators and my animal insurance company. They are seen by a vet monthly. All are in great health and well taken care of. ***** naturally head but each other, that's how they play. The one goat was loosely tied because he was at one point getting to aggressive with the others. The food that you say we left "too little" of is called grain, and animals should not have too much of it. I left just the right amount. Their main diet is grass and there was plenty of it there. When the event was booked, I informed them that it was out of my normal service area but since they couldn't find anyone else I agreed to do it. I said it would be dropped off with an attendant. There was access to water there as well. No one mentioned at any time that this was a venue. It looked like a home with a lovely back yard. Had we been told ahead of time that everything had to be out at a certain time, then I would not have booked it because the location is too far. There was high winds that day and anyone who drives a truck or pulls a trailer can tell you, you have to drive slow and with caution on days like that. And yes, gas is required to allow for a vehicle to move. We cover hundreds of miles in a day, so yes from time to time we must stop to get gas, I'm sorry. They live on a 100 acre farm, they have huge play areas, are showered with love by kids and adults all day at my farm, get lots of treats and are given better medical than I even give myself.
