On May 14th 2024 this Realtor accepted our payment in full for an apartment. We were told we would receive the lease later same day and or next day(May15).It has now been 2 months since we payed in full $5,700. For weeks we were told that the city had to do a lead test and they were waiting for results. After a few weeks we were told the lead test was negative but they needed to wait to get the paper work from the city before giving us a move in date, at this point they still would not provide a lease to sign. After a few more weeks they said the they got the paperwork & the results were positive and they could not rent us the apartment we payed for. For the past 2 weeks I have been trying to get the business to refund my cash payment. They did return $1,900.00 of the $5,700.00 but they still owe me $3,800.00 as they were not able to produce the apartment they promised and we had to hire another realtor to help us find a new home by our deadline.
