I went to Statcare Urgent Care in the Bronx, ** on 7/24/21 and did a physical with related bloodwork. A few weeks after I got the laboratory **** for $654.29 from a sunrise medical laboratories. I called the laboratory and my insurance to find out why I am getting a **** as my insurance generally pays the bills. I was told that the doctor at the Statcare urgent care did not code the visit correctly which resulted in me getting the laboratory ****. I have called several people at Statcare including the billing department and I was not helped. I bought the bills to the receptionist in office and they were not helpful either and I guess they tossed my **** that I gave them aside x2 because now this **** is in collections. I am not sure what to do because everyone is set on a robot and stupid telling me I do not owe Statcare any money which we understand however I owe this laboratory company money related to my visit to **** care. Coincidentally I did this exact visit a year before and I received no bills . So far no one at Statcare has recoded this visit and my credit is in jeopardy.Customer response
