  Arrangements were made with *********************** to have interior and roof asbestos samples. Cost was $1365.00. She was provided with contact information of tenant as I would not be there. On 10/1/21 technician *** showed up to do samples. He arrived with no ladder for roof and said he was unaware that roof samples were needed. I was contacted and tried to get a ladder from maintenance but they do not provide to outside contractors. I called *** and let him know he would need to bring his own ladder. He said he would return and I gave him the phone number/address for him to contact maintenance when he returned. Later that morning I heard from tenant that *** was done and he took all the samples including the roof. On 10/5/21 I received the report and contacted ***** that I wanted to discuss with her. On that day I also asked the tenant specifically how *** took roof samples and she said he asked for a chair and leaned out the kitchen window and when he came in said he had his samples. Tenant could not see where he took samples from and *** never asked about the roofline. On 10/6/21 I spoke to ***** and told her it was not possible for those samples to be from my roof and I sent her a picture as proof. During this conversation she said she would be sending a mitigation estimator on 10/12. I told her then the report was inaccurate because the samples were from the wrong address and that should be corrected. She commented "it's all basically the same roof" to which I told her it was not my roof. After speaking to a few people in construction industry and telling them what happened here they advised not to pay for mitigation on samples not taken from my roof. There was never an offer to re-sample, she just spoke of mitigation and costs (emails attached). ***** is now blaming me for not being present (she already knew that) and the tenant for what is obviously a deliberate action on ***** part of improperly taking samples from a roof other than mine.
