I purchased a transmission from this vendor in January. I finally received it 4 weeks later in February. The transmission went bad in June (no 3rd or 4th gear). I got in a rental on June 6th. I spent over $2,000 out of pocket for rental because they received my transmission and have done nothing with it. I finally had to turn in my rental in August because I could not afford it any longer. **** told me at the end of July that my transmission was on its way back to me. I still have not seen it. I spoke to a guy who handles their shipping (*****). ***** checked my shipping information and stated that they (**** and ****) still have my transmission in NY. Nothing has been done to it. I've tried to call ****. Nobody ever answers the phone and the phone service won't allow me to leave a voicemail. I get periodic texts from ****, but it's never a solution or an update. It's always some excuse. It literally takes at most 2 days to rebuild a transmission and at most 5-7 days to ship. It has been over 90 days and I still don't have my transmission. My Yukon is tying up a shop's bay here locally. That shop is now threatening to take a mechanic's lien out on my Yukon. I would like a refund or my transmission rebuilt and shipped back to me. As of now, they have my money and my transmission, which at this point is theft by deception. I'm not sure if they don't have the money to refund me or they don't know how to rebuild a transmission. I can't for the life of me think of a good reason as to why it should take over 90 days to handle a warranty rebuild on a transmission. There is no parts availability issues with the rebuild kit. Their logistics guy, *****, said he'd rebuild it for me if they would approve it. I get no response from ****************** or **** when I call or text.
