Matchabar has a defunct website that malfunctioned and charged me for 3 seperate orders. After explaining this to their team, they told me to send back 2 of the orders and they would refund me. They never refunded me and now their customer service team has not answered any of my emails.Customer response

I made an online purchase (200gr matcha for *****) after I completed the transaction, a pop up said they were making a special offer - what looked like a receipt with specifics (matcha, 200 grams, a line below it with the words Total - *****. There was a countdown clock above saying time remaining as the seconds minutes counted down. I thought about it for a moment -I didnt really need more of the product but thought if this is a promotion, Ill give it to my brother as a gift. The only option they showed was to press buy so I did. It immediately said your order has been updated adding a $75 charge to the balance. I immediately emailed them saying that I had not understood that I would be charge $75 and that I found the wording and design of their special offer to be misleading to the point of fraud. I emailed them several times all within a minute of ordering. This morning they wrote back saying that they could not change the order, that once an order was placed, it couldnt be adjusted. That is not true, because they actually added to the order after it was placed, clearly they could remove the item if they chose to do so. They said my only option was to return the product and that they do not provide return labels. Obviously they are hoping I do not bother to do that. This tactic is underhanded, misleading, and a scam. I know this sounds *****, but it is really crazy making.Customer response

I ordered and paid for a product from MatchaBar, and they did not deliver it. They gave me defunct tracking information, and then ignored my emails asking for a refund or replacement. I then reached out to their social media accounts, and through the contact form directly through the website. I cannot get ahold of anyone to get my money back.
