I contracted with Cabinets and More of Brooklyn to perform renovations on my home. The original request was kitchen cabinets and then I added additional projects. The original project was paid for and we added additional projects. we agreed on a bi-weekly payment of $1000.00. As the months progressed, I was asked to increase my bi-weekly payment to $1500.00 and I agreed. When we originally agreed on the work to be completed, they would work during the week and on weekends. As we were adding additional projects, I advised that they could take on other projects during the week with the agreement that they would work at my home on the weekends, to which they agreed The days that they would show up decreased and many times, they would not even show up. They began four different projects simultaneously and to date have only finished one. They would promise to come to continue to work and would either not show up or show up for an hour or two, without making any progress. As of July 21, 2022, I stopped making bi-weekly payments as the total that I had paid to date was $ ********* and they were not completing the work. Upon non-receipt of payment, ***************** contacted me to schedule time to come to complete the work.. I advised her that I did not want to proceed with any of the additional projects I had originally agreed to and that I just wanted the 3 projects that they had started to be finished. She agreed that they would and asked me to provide a list of the order in which I would like the work completed. On August 13, 2022, I emailed the requested list along with the request that the work is finished by October 31, 2022. **** agreed that the work would be done by October 31, 2022. To date, the work is still not completed, and I have paid a total of $*********. I have sent multiple texts and made numerous phone calls, some of which are responded to and some which are not, in which they tell me they are going to come and then dontCustomer response
