This car company (E-Z Car Rental ) seems to be extremely unscrupulous. I have had an (hit-and-run accident) since July 16th, to where, the company vehicle hit my car (which was parked in front of my house). Presumably, the driver was drunk because she did not notice she propelled my personal vehicle and aggressively shoved it to the curb. I vainly offered water to the women. When I came back outside, she fled the scene and abandoned the vehicle running. The police say there is nothing they can do but impound the vehicle. The police took about 2 hours to arrive and my police report is: ******************. The vehicle was impounded but then I called to doublecheck if the vehicle has been up until now there; it was not. Within less than 48 hours, their vehicle was released while my vehicle remains damaged and undriveable. The rental company has eluded to misled me for five dreary months now. The accident occurred on July 16th 2022, as stated on my police report as well. I just do not comprehend how a negligent company could really have their vehicle hit my car in front of my house and now I have my car sitting at a repair shop waiting to be repaired. It is extremely, unfortunately, how you can sleep at night knowing you, undoubtedly, ruined my life. My first car I worked hard for is now undrivable. Please assist me in seeking justice in repairing my vehicle. The car involved *******) NJ is registered to whole other business, Gardenstate Auto *********. which is registered in a whole different name to maliciously deceive anyone seeking to file for damages.To sum up: I am seeking justice for my vehicle that was hit in front of my house, the driver fled the scene, the rental company(owner) of the vehicle, is refusing to provide their insurance to pay for my damages caused by their vehicle. It has been 4 months, 4 weeks and 1 day so, about 5 months I have been waiting for assistance to pay for the damages caused by EZ Car Rental / Gardenstate Auto ********* my vehicle.Customer response

EZ Car Rental (located on *********************************** *****) charged my credit card without my knowledge, permission or consent, on July 15th, 2022 with the amount of $325.00.Following the charge, I wasnt sent a receipt, bill, or an invoice explaining the charge or the breakdown of the items and amounts.I had originally rented a car from EZ Car Rental before, specifically on May 26, 2022 at 10:00 AM, and returned it on May 27, 2022 at 3:00 PM.? The car was returned on time and in perfect condition, as inspected and stated by the companys representative upon return at the time.?? I was charged with the amount of $326.25, plus $22.00 for ****************** plus all tolls charges by OnePass, which added up to $157.61 and posted a few weeks following the rental.Overall, between rental, milage, tolls and insurance fees, the final total was $505.86, which I was okay with, and glad to be done with the charges for a one-day rental !Until recently, on July 16, 2022, I found the above mentioned additional charge of $325.00 with no explanation, invoice or receipt.? That's when I decided to dispute the charge through my credit card company and bank. A month later, my bank notified me that the issue couldn't be resolved, and that I will have to resolve it with EZ Car Rental myself.When I went there to inquire about the charge, they said I had a camera speeding ticket, when I asked to see a copy of the ticket, they failed to provide one.First of all, what kind of speeding ticket amounts to $325?Second, why wasn't I notified of the ticket?Third, why isn't there a speeding ticket attached to my driver license number? I called the *** office to check.Fourth, why is EZ Car Rental failing to provide proof or evidence of such ticket?Fifth, what right did EZ Car Rental have to charge my credit card without my knowledge or consent, and without a legitimate proof or document confirming the charge?I'm hoping that BBB would assist me ASAP.Initial Complaint

I rented a car with EZ rental after my accident. I was told my insurance company would cover the costs by EZ rental. 2 weeks into my rental they decided to charge 10 dollars a day more on top of my insurer cause with no reason and or warning. They asked to me to pay an additional 440 dollars out of pocket that I was not supposed to pay. Now they are sending threatening letters to me.All state said I could of used enterprise and this would have not happened and it would of all been payed for for the same type of vehicle.
