Good morning. I contacted Laptop repair data to fix my hp laptop in august of 2020. Every time I asked about the unit he will say hes dropping it off and never showed up. He delivered the laptop but it still wasnt working so he took it back to work on it some more. After months of fixing he returned my laptop 10/30/2021 not fixed and said he will issue me a refund of ****** and he never did. When I contacted him about the refund he blocked my number. I called from my mothers phone and he told my mom to stop playing games on his phone and blocked that number as well.Initial Complaint

I contacted ******************************* from Laptop Repair Data to fix my laptop in May 2021. I have **** touchscreen ****************************** point was freezing and not letting me doing anything on it. I paid $195 upfront and in about 10 days he dropped off laptop (although I had to ask him several times to let me know about drop off and he was not replying) and it seemed like it worked. But he never saved the data like he promised. I went away for the summer and have not used lap top. Came back in fall and when tried to work on it, realized it was doing same freezing. I contacted ******************************* by text again, saying that it was not working. He agreed to pick it up (again was difficult to arrange). He picked up laptop by my house on November 3rd. Since then Ive been trying to get my laptop back. I kept contacting him and he was saying the part that he needed is not available. About 6 weeks later I said that I need my laptop and he said he is receiving the part and will give my laptop back soon. Since then he disappeared. He doesnt respond on my text, doesnt pick up the phone.The most disgusting part is that I have photos/videos of my young daughter and my family. I dont trust that person with those. Unbelievable. Ive read so many bad reviews, unfortunately too late for myself. So many people have lost their laptops to him. I dont understand why he is still walking around cause simply this is robbery.Customer response

******************************* is holding my laptop for 10 months now. He keeps saying that the part is at JFK and that's the hold up. Now, I can't even contact him. His phone line is disconnected. His whatsapp no longer exists.I just want my laptop returned!He had been to my home several times, but now he's ignoring **** have no idea what's going on with my laptop now.Customer response

To clarify, ******************************* is the person from Laptop Repair Data that came to my home to repair my computer. He stated that he needed to take my computer with him (last time that I saw him in person) in order to get the correct keyboard. He is not someone who I knew before finding him/his business online. The phone number that I have on record for him is ************. The address listed for the business is a fraud. No "Laptop Repair Data" storefront actually exists, as far as I know. I don't know his home address either. He never gave my his personal data. I did have him in my home a few times and he worked on my computer and on my son's phone installing security. When I try that phone number now, I can't get through. It says that it's not a working number. I have no way to find him.Customer response
