On 7/8/22 I had an appointment for my gas dryer to be repaired. He proceeded to take apart the dryer, was snipping ends off of pieces and putting them back in the dryer then had to ask my son for help while he reattached the housing. Left with the assumption that the dryer was repaired, he never told me he had to order part(s) and not to use the unit. On doing laundry the next day I found he also put the front housing on incorrectly and left a sharp piece of plastic sticking out which damaged a dress of mine with a big chunk taken out of the back and small holes in the front.I called and was told the tech forgot to tell me he needed to order part(s) and not to use the unit. I requested a different tech be sent and was told no other tech would touch the machine if he damaged it so they needed to send the same one. Was texted by ***** saying 3-7pm on 7/22 After 3 weeks without the dryer no consideration was given to make mine a morning call or at least the first call of the afternoon. When I asked for the name of the technician, shop and address I was refused any information. When I told her I was a senior citizen with mobility issues, and I would be alone in the house late Friday and I wanted this information for security purposes, I was still refused and told to contact ****** After a lengthy chat with ***** telling them I was concerned about my security and I wanted to know who I was letting in my house I was given the Tech ID#*******, his name *******, and the shop was NY Tech TV Repair (still not sure how in the world TV repair people were involved in servicing my dryer). I then texted back the shop with the information I was given and asked them to confirm the ******** ****** address (********* no response.A few hours later the shop cancelled the Friday appointment with ***** and I received a voice message from ***** telling me to call and open a new service ticket with a different shop. Clearly red flags this shop is a scam, only taking jobsBusiness response

NY TECH TV REPAIR *** has no agreements or contracts, or scheduled any C.O.D appointments with this customer, *****************************. ********************** *** never sold this customer any contracts or any services, never charged customer any money whatsoever. The negative feedback is inappropriate and doesn't belong to our company. Customer ***************************** confused ********************** *** with her ***** contract she signed with them. ***** should be responsible for any problems with technicians, parts orders, or scheduling of appointments. NY TECH TV REPAIR *** has no control over their actions and not responsible. NY TECH TV REPAIR *** is not affiliated with *****. We are a separate corporation. Some techs from NY TECH TV REPAIR *** are subcontracted by ***** and this is agreement between technician and *****. Each tech has personal responsibilities with ***** under contract between him and *****. If ***************************** has any problem with techs, she has to contact ***** directly and file complaint with ***** technician because technician represents *****. Again, NY TECH TV REPAIR *** never received any money from this customer. All questions should be addressed to *****. Customer must remove negative feedback because it affects our business and our customers by loosing business. NY TECH may take legal actions against ***************************** for loss of business. Amount will be calculated. To avoid legal actions ***************************** must remove her feedback as a threat to our company. By using words like 'this shop is a scam' with the company that has 28 years in business is big accusation and ***************************** should be responsible for making such claims.

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:The failure of the person ******* to honor the 7/22 3-7pm appointment I agreed to (I have all this on texts on my phone) cancelled the appointment with ***** causing me to have a new service ticket opened pushing the repair date back even further. I will now incur laundromat costs and mental anguish. I was given the tech and company information from ***** (which I also have on a chat transcript) to resolve this with them. Perhaps they should check with *****.
