Security is on a power trip. I was having an issue with my ticket and stepped away from the entrance to speak to ******* on the phone. I went into a porta potty in an area of the courtyard where nobody was to not be in people's way. After about 10 minutes the bouncer started slamming on the door. I came out and tried to explain to her that I was on the phone trying to troubleshoot my ticket. She grabbed me by the arm and yanked me back towards the main entrance, which was a narrow pathway with about 5 bouncers. Two other bouncers then started getting in my face and would not let me explain what I was doing. They created a problem where there was none. Then once I finally did get my ticket sorted out, they would not let me in. I waited around for some time since I had already came all this way to see the show, but despite rationally explaining to the head bouncer what happened and having him understand, the other 2-3 had their egos bruised and would not get over it. They were not polite nor respectful, and this was their small chance to feel important and powerful, likely not feeling so in their day to day lives. In the time I waited outside I saw them exhibit this kind of behavior to other patrons doing nothing wrong. I've been to tons of edm shows and actually saw this artist months ago at an actual legitimate venue, and this was abnormal behavior. This gang was far, far away from the entrance to the event and running court there. They had their makeshift sloppy "EMT" on staff which looked like high school students in a rain coat 'inspect' someone who was clearly on heavy illegal drugs, and let them in anyways. The venue is really out of the way and in a sketchy area with nothing around it, I felt unnerved just going there. Sad to see this and I will definitely never be returning. Coming here is not worth the harassment, you're better off trusting a venue with more professionalism in a better area.
