I went to food bazar in Brooklyn ** on ******************************* there phone number is ************ as I was shopping mind you I came into the supermarket as I always do with my shopping cart and at no point did anyone ask me to leave my shopping cart at the door which they never has I shop at this place every other week or sometimes more than that and Im at the cashier checking out my food now mind you the manager is right there next to me and hes seeing me put my groceries into my shopping cart and I also had my other groceries Im my shopping cart as well so this manager sees me putting my groceries into my shopping cart and waits for me to pay for my groceries and then very aggressively tells NOW TAKE EVERYTHING OUT OF YOUR CART BECAUSE YOU BEEN STEALING now Im confused because as I said he seen me putting my stuff into my cart they held me at the supermarket well over 2 hours they never called the cops I called the cops and when they arrived the manager tells the officers they have me on camera stealing so I show the officers my receipt and they tells the manager she has a receipt so the manager tells the officers that I stole everything in my cart but my receipt says otherwise and the manager lets me pay for my groceries and then he says I stole everything Im my cart they help me against my will I told the manager if I stole everything in my cart you should have footage of me stealing everything in my cart and for the fact they never had one bit of evidence of me doing nothing but paying for groceries is outrageous I was livid at the fact that I always shop at this very same supermarket and for them to be rude disrespectful and unprofessional of the fact that they were wrong and I my receipt said that I payed for everything that was in my cart I gave the officers my receipt and I let them look and I showed them everything that was on my receipt and yet they still felt like my groceries that I payed for was stolen it just beyond words and my pressure was so highBusiness response

These concerns were brought to the attention of our store manager and appropriate team members to ensure this issue was resolved in the best way possible. We apologize for the inconvenience. However, we would like to remind our customers about our Bag Check Policy that states "We reserve the right to check our customer's bags upon entering and exiting the store."

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:[Your Answer Here]
They never asked me to leave my shopping cart at the door period!and for the fact that they are saying this now is outrageous and I definitely send my receipt when I reached out to you guys and now they have the nerve to say that they asked me to check my belongings is just outrageous never did they ask me not one time and also where was security when this supposedly happened they seen me with my shopping cart the whole while when I was shopping and never ever did security ask me to leave my shopping cart at the door and if this is what they saying they are liars so now they want to clean up this whole situation that occurred on security watch and as a matter of fact there was plenty of people shopping with their carts as well so if this is the case why not one customer entering this ********************** left their cart at the door so thats definitely says a lot about their security and the service of the supermarket so all the customers had their shopping just like I did no one never checks bags shopping carts at this supermarket ever and they no this and Im not letting this one go on how they treated me and lied the officers that I called told them this like you accused of stealing and everything that I purchased from that supermarket was in my cart and they seen everything that was on my receipt in my cart the manager seen me put everything into my cart so he already seen this and they waited for me to pay for all my groceries then they said I was stealing so I would like to think that they have proof of that they shouldve had proof but they didnt so I definitely need for them to recognize their wrong doing towards a customer whos always in that ********************** on a regular basis now since this has happened now they will probably in force that customers leave their belongings at the door because of all that has happened and how they did what they have done to me and trust they are not going to get away with how they have mishandled me and not one of them apologized for their wrong doing to me as one of their loyal customers and Im past the stage of them apologizing
