A few months ago, I decided to try tape in hair extensions. I asked a lot of questions to make sure its not going to cause damage to my natural hair. Only after paying the $400+tip did I find out he charged me a lot more than others; which I wouldnt have made a big deal about if the following didnt happen. The original extensions were soft and light, but a few werent put in correctly (had bumps) and many fell out within the first few days. So I had contacted *** (the stylist) and he said he would fix it. Instead of fixing it, he took out what I had and gave me completely different extensions. These were heavier and kept knotting up. It was pulling on my hair and scalp intensely. I told him I wanted to to take it out immediately. He was away on vacation or busy for a while. When I finally went back, he acted like it was my fault that it looked as crazy as it looked (all knotted up together), acted like he didnt know what I was talking about when I was showing him the thinning and missing hair from scalp, and charged me another $80 to remove the damaged goods. As I dont like to fight or make a scene, I paid him the money and left. Its been about 6 months since then and the problem has only been getting worse. My hair has been shedding like crazy (comes out in small clumps sometimes), has been thinning, and I even have thin lines with no hair at all (Im guessing where the extensions were taped in or right above). If my hair would have grew back, I would have left it alone, let him keep the money, and just never use that hair salon again. Now its me spending money on products trying profusely to get my hair back to the way it used to be, or at least get it to grow back in the bald spots. The minimum resolution I would okay with is a full refund, but at this point its more than that.Customer response
