On 6/6/2023 I, ********************* was taken to the ** in a ambulance by Mecklenburg County EMS. The claim was processed out of network by American plan administrators we are now one year later they have finally reprocessed the claim and did so incorrectly. I have left at least five documented voicemails for a supervisor to call me back with no return call. Every time I call to discuss the claim and I am sent to a supervisor it is **** and she never returns my call The last representative I spoke with told me the supervisors don't have voicemails. This is absolutely unacceptable for someone who paid a large amount out of their paycheck for health insurance. It is my right to have a supervisor at least return my call and let me know what is going on with my claim. As someone who has worked insurance for over 12 years and in a supervisor role I could never imagine not calling a member back to at least keep them updated on what's going on with their claim is both parties need to get paid. Unfortunately, due to the fact no one has contacted me except for sending an explanation of benefits in the mail I have contacted my attorney.11/28/ 2023 Mecklenburg County EMS Agency submitted an appeal on my behalf January 25th 2024 Mecklenburg County EMS agency called and was told there was no appeal on file and someone would call them back no one ever did March 6th they called again with no results March 13th mecklenburg County E M S stated they received an E O B Stating nothing new would be paid on my claim ******** I made a phone call to American plant administrators at 3:08 PM call reference **** ******** with no resolution ******** at 3:15 PM call reference number **** A 520 2024 claim number 523-5720 is still in process 528-2024 reference number PINKY 528-2024 left message for supervisor **** with no return phone call five twenty nine twenty twenty four three sixteen PM sent to ****'s voicemail with no return call **********:38 PM sent to ****'s voicemail with no return phone call.

I am a patient. I was seen on 12/22/23 for a brace to be made so I can continue to walk and be able to work. I was told by American Plan Administrators that my co-pay would be $404.25. I paid my co-pay and was fitted for my Arizona Brace. I have received a bill for $718.04 from the company. I have called American Plan Administrators four times to resolve this problem. I have spoken with Des on 6/12/23 who stated she will "escalate" this. Called on 11/20/23 and spoke with **** who stated that this issue was not escalated and she will escalate to manager. I received another bill from a collection agency. I called American Plan Administrators and spoke with **** on 12/14/23 who stated once again, this was not escalated to the "appeals" department and she will escalate to a manager. I have paid the bill in the amount of ****** (along with a credit card fee) on 12/21/23 to the collection agency. I spoke with ****** 12/21/23 at American Plan Administrators who stated they will not be paying this bill even as I explained to her that I had met my deductible in 2022. I am asking for American Plan Administrators to review my account and reimburse me for the amount that they should have paid.

I submitted a claim to American Plan Administrators back in early August. I called every two weeks to check status and they kept saying to allow more time as it takes them 2-3 weeks to upload a claim into their system. I called today, 10/03/23, and the claim is just "in process" and they cannot give me a received date. This is clearly one of their many methods to prolong claim payment. Insurances are legally required to process a claim within 45 business days. She could not tell me why the claim was still "in process" and she said there was no other supervisor above her and that there are no on shore representatives. This is definitely a lie as I work with several insurance companies and the first supervisor usually does have someone over them or access to transfer a provider on shore.

I am a health care provider (psychotherapist) and have a patient who has American Plan Administrators as their insurance. I have claims going back to October and they still haven't paid anything while most other insurances pay within 2 weeks. I have called muliptle times and told that it is still being "processed" and that it can take 4 months to be paid on a claim. I will never accept another patient with this insurance!

I have American plan as my health insurance and I went to quest diagnostics a total of four times for a blood draw due to being a type one diabetic. They have not covered a single bill and I do not understand why. I have called quest multiple times and American plan and nothing. I was told by American plan the service from 3/8/22 was adjusted to 62 and change but I have no way of getting access to pay it. They refuse to respond to quest when they send over these bills. I need something done for me asap. I cant keep having outstanding bills dated back as far as December of last year. I need these bills all adjusted IMMEDIATELY and sent what I owe which shouldnt be anything since I keep getting put through the ringer to get somewhere with them. Please if someone could help out with this I would appreciate it.
