Most corrupt company I have ever dealt with. They refused to pay for covered items and will not return calls to customers. The following are some of the actions that Global Home Protection took during my one year of coverage with the company:Refused to pay a negotiated settlement agreement because after weeks of not getting payment I contacted my States *********************** to see if they could help get me my payment. Later I found out that Global Home protection was not registered to conduct business in my State.They attempted to get me to agree to cancel my contract because they said that by contacting the ************************ I had defamed the character of the company and they could, according to the contract, cancel my agreement. I refused to agree to their forced cancellation. They said they would pay my claim if I dropped the inquiry with my ************************* I never received any payment for this claim.Several months, and may calls and emails from me, I opened another claim for another covered item. Initially they told me that according to the contract I signed that I could only have one claim approved during the contract period. They again told me that if I dropped the claim against them they would pay the claim. I finally agreed to drop the claim and we completed all the paperwork to receive payment for the second claim. I was trying to at least get some payment from them, however that also failed.This company legal address is in ************* but their operations are in ********. I filed claims against them in both ******** and ********. Neither State took any action against the company.If you really want Home Protection do not pay money to this company. This company cost me at least $1000 in legitimate unpaid claims.

They will not answer any phone calls or call me back for a claim

I purchased 2 contracts with Global Home protection, and I had to file 2 claims, the first one (hot tub malfunctioning) on March 9, 2022. I was never able to get in touch with them, their phone never answers. I had to send multiple emails, file a complaint with BBB to get them to finally give me the link to file a complaints. Eventually I was able to file the claim, then it dragged for weeks and weeks, until they told me they could not find a provider to fix it, I had to find my own provider, get it fix and submit the estimate. which I did, including pictures, and all they were asking for. After multiple emails to them as of July 19th, I have never heard back from them.2nd claim this week for A/C malfunctioning ( I live in Phoenix and temperature is in the 100's). I filed a claim Sunday July 17, we are Thursday 19th, I have not even received an acknowledgment that they received my claims. At this point I am getting a lawyer for breach of contract.

I purchased 2 home warranties from global home protection. I attempted to make a claim on my properties and they will not answer the phone for any reason or return my messages. I have also filed a claim online twice and they never responded to them. I asked for a refund a couple of months ago for my properties and I have yet to receive them or receive any more correspondence from them on the status of my refunds.

In my first claim and only in 2021 with this company, I had no issues so I renewed my contract for three years because it was time to renew. BIG MISTAKE!!! During the week of 5/8/22, my refrigerator stopped cooling so I put in a claim online. I have attempted to get service from this company, and all I get is being placed on hold, never to get a response. I've made two online requests for service but never got a response. I began calling the company on 5/9/22 (twice), and again on 5/10. Finally, on 5/11, I was able to leave a message; ***** called me back and left a message that same day with his extension. I called him back, and he took my information for the claims (I had two by this time now my garage door opener stopped working) and said a service contractor would be getting with me within 24 to 48 hours and that I would get an email of the requests. Forty-eight hours passed, and no email and no contractor contact. I called back on 5/14, 5/15 (three times), and 5/20, with my most recent attempt on 5/25. I paid for a three-year contract and have not been able to get any service from this company. The company's address states it is in Brooklyn, ** and I had my Godbrother, who lives near the address, go by to see if he could help me, but the location appears to be just a shell front location. I am forced to call a repair service company and pay out of pocket to do the repairs. If I could give this company a lower rating, I would! My only other option is to have an attorney file a claim against the company for fraud and or theft of services.
