This company does not act professionally, proceed proactively, I have not had a hot water heater or water in my house for two weeks and they will not take action to get my water heater installed today. They were called the morning my hot water heater flooded my basement, they still cannot seem to get service out to my home and install my hot water heater, then turn my water on, I live in a city. I now must to talk to a supervisor who really cant do much of anything except refer my hot water heater up the chain and the urgency of this. This morning (2weeks today with no water and no hot water heater installed), the supervisor told me to contact the Plumber they have a contracted relationship with, she would not do it. This company does not take care of their customers, this is my first claim with them and they have handled it beyond whats acceptable. I feel not having clean water in your home would be an urgent request for service and it would be taken care of promptly. I would like everyone thats reading this to grasp what no water in your home means. This means not taking a shower, not washing clothes, not brushing your teeth, not being able to use your toilet, not being able to water your yard, give your dogs water, take care of your family in a clean and safe manner. Absolutely unacceptable, and not once did they sincerely apologize for the lack of them doing their job towards our customer. I do not recommend this company, they dont care about their customers well-being towards safety, and their health when things break down.Review from Manny B

DO NOT BUY this Insurance. They did not cover repairs for Air Conditioner & offered 10% of the repair cost. This is a scam where they promise you that all the appliances are covered & you just have to pay a deductible. THIS IS NOT TRUE.Review from Laurie K

Terrible company. Total scam. Bought their premium package when we purchased the home 16 months ago. Air conditioning went out. They sent technician out. Charged $70. Was told unit needed to be replaced. Called daily for 2 weeks for response. Finally offered 1/5 of the replacement cost- $1200. Replacement cost they quoted was over $6200. Had 2 local companies quote under $5000. Cancelled Liberty, it took 3 weeks to get partial refund after more fees. Stay away.Review from Gary M

Liberty Home Guard does not cover installation of parts on, at least, appliance repairs. I found this out doing an actual claim with Liberty on my refrigerator's ice maker. Liberty Home Guard does not cover installation of parts!!!Our ice maker on our pro-series refrigerator (we paid more for pro-series coverage) stopped working. Ok $125 to have them out. They diagnose and it needs some part. They purchase the part; not much money. Where and how to install the part? We'll that is up to us!!! They don't install parts on these repairs! Ridiculous! Installation of a part could be pretty complicated.Actual language from the policy; I went to double check this craziness was in writing. It is. Buyer beware. "Installation of parts of or the entirety of systems, appliances, and/or optional add-ons". I also called them today to double check the coverage; they confirmed they don't install the parts needed for the repair. How is this not false advertising?!! This is not mentioned in any of the advertising information on their website; it was not in the proforma we received before paying for the policy. Everything you read before purchasing would lead one to believe that if your covered appliance fails, they will fix it, minus the $125 fee (for me) to come to the house. This is simply not true!!!
