I have gotten paid $100 twice starting in 2021 and again in 2022...then just recently I noticed that I never got 2023's $100 payment, so about 10 days ago I emailed and set up a time to have them call, but they never called. I emailed several times but no response except an automated one, and their phone goes to an answer that tells you to email, and you can't leave a message. So what gives? I would have given 1 star, but I did receive $200 so far, but they owe me $100 now.Review from Liz V

I have waited 2 days to complete the 10 minute telephone interview. I've tried at least 10 times to call and never get a human. I've made 4 appointments for the calls 3 yesterday and 1 today and never received the call. I sent numerous emails and never received a reply. I could never imagine staying in business if it's ran like this isCoastFi Response

Unfortunately, CoastFi doesn't live up to what it promises, and much of its positive feedback seems attributable to very questionable sources. Since signing up for CoastFi over two years ago, I haven't experienced any issues with my network, and only occasional minor issues with CoastFi's equipment connectivity. That said, multiple attempts to partake in it's referral program proved fruitless; coverage areas were cited for the decline of multiple of my referrals. To my dismay, in some instances it seems arrangements were made to circumvent referral offer pay, by enrolling new license holders independent from their referral.Ultimately, following the initial 12-month period, subsequent payment was only ever received if contact via email was made, specifically within 30 days of completion of each 12-month period. CoastFi was never proactive about issuing any payment. Timely request for it were necessary for me to paid.Additionally, CoastFi's agreement used such broad language and sweeping terms to essentially avoid any possible responsibility, for anything, at any time, under any circumstances. Regardless of the legal standing to actually back it, CoastFi views its agreements as optional, seeing them as voluntary to honor, but mandatory for users. CoastFi claims the right to completely ignore, change, or terminate any agreement it feels like even without ever telling anyone.This corporate strategy, or lack of ethical business practice, combined with the deceptive tactics in the nature of it's offers, and the huge cost of it's property to users who become responsible for anything that happens to it, plus the other undisclosed requirements, hidden stipulations, and especially the fact you may not ever even know you're license agreement was terminated, in which case, if you reach out about your payment from CoastFi, you may find out everything you did was for nothing, but that it will cost you over $600 for equipment not returned right away or the right way.CoastFi Response

Well, all these reviews seem to be outdated to how CoastFi is currently conducting business. My assumption is that they no longer have a business. Everywhere Ive gone to reach someone so that I can get my year 3 payment, seems like a ghost town. Well, Im already frustrated finding out that they were mining Helium this whole time and Im sure made a killing compared to what theyre giving. Im cool with that. It wasnt as if I was gonna start mining. What I do want is my hundred dollars that they owe me. As of right now Im about to unplug the box they sent me and see if it can be sold and cut all ties. I dont like being ignored or scammed.CoastFi Response

Great program. Had a quick phone call with a representative after scheduling a call and received a hotspot 2 days later. Within a week I was paid my $100 and it has had zero negative impact on my internet speed. I don't notice it and I got my $100. Thanks!Review from Richard C.

First off I was very impressed how quickly I received the installation kit, it was sent overnight. Based on that and your website saying several time that I'd be paid immediately after installation I was impressed but after I installed is when I found out there's a 3-5 day waiting period to be paid. I normally wouldn't have an issue with that but your website and your representative both clearly represent immediate payment upon installation. When I get paid I will change my review to 5 stars as long as I get it as promised the third time. Thank youReview from JacksonR

I had signed up and then had technical issues with my device. I was told to ship it back and it would be fixed or replaced. Weeks later and I still hadnt heard anything, so I reach out via email, only to be told that the coverage team has reassessed the location and it does not qualify for coverage at this time. No one though to tell me anything, what the ****? Thats extremely rude and inconsiderate. I was counting on this money.CoastFi Response

The CoastFi Coverage Team assesses each location before accepting an address for hotspot installation, including initial installations and replacements for faulty hotspots. So far I thought it was pretty good. I have now had it installed for more then 2 weeks. I was told to look out for a payment in 3 to 5 days well its been over a week. I reached out an they say there were busy due to the holiday which I totally understand but it would have been nice had it stated that in a email. I should not have to send you a email 3 times in order to get a response. Still no payment so these comments stating they pay fast are a complete joke.CoastFi Response
