• GOLDEN FLAMINGO'S JEWELRY STORE SALES POLICY
  1. Exchange, Store Credit and Refund Policy apply: only within 10 days from the date of purchase; and excluding special orders and final sale items. For online and phone orders: exchange, store credit and refund within 10 (ten) days after the delivery by postal service. The customer may exercise the following options within the allotted 10 days from the date of purchase/delivery by postal service: exchange an item; or return an item for a store credit to the total amount of purchase price; or return an item for a refund less 12% of the purchase price withheld as a restocking fee. NOTE: Online/phone orders are not subject to a restocking fee.
  1.1 Exchange or Store Credit: apply as long as the purchase price of the new item exceeds that of the original purchase w/applicable taxes. The difference is refunded by cash or credit card. Cash refund does not apply when the price of the new item is lower than the original purchase price w/tax. In such case the balance becomes the client's personal store credit statement with Golden Flamingo. NOTE: Store credits are not redeemable for cash.
  1.2 Store credit statements are not transferable and are valid when produced with any valid photo ID.
  1.3 Returns. Only intact items with all sealed tags, original packaging, and the original invoice may be returned or exchanged. Only a complete set of two or more matching items may be returned or exchanged. Exchange, request for a store credit, or return for a refund is offered only at the original place of the purchase and solely to the initial buyer.
  1.4 Returns by mail (for online / phone orders). We strongly advise you to use US PS Insured Priority Mail for returns. The date on the return postage receipt is considered the date of the return.
  1.4.1 Golden Flamingo does not provide return shipping labels and does not cover return postage and insurance expenses.
  1.4.2 Golden Flamingo refunds only the price of purchase (excluding the original shipping charges and insurance paid by the seller). The same policy applies to all purchases exceeding $59.
  2. Layaway items are the property of Golden Flamingo stores until the purchase price is paid in full. An initial deposit of 20% of the purchase price is required. The balance is payable within 90 days. Otherwise a store has the right to refund the deposit and sell the item to another client. Golden Flamingo does not pay interest on layaway deposits and installments.
  3. Limited Warranty: Golden Flamingo offers a limited warranty for 45 days from the date of purchase. The store offers repair of manufacturer defects subject to an expert opinion or exchange for a new item. If neither repair nor exchange is possible the store offers a full refund. This warranty does not cover damage caused by negligence of the customer; in such case $75 is payable by the customer to Golden Flamingo as the reimbursement of expert damage assessment fee. The limited warranty does not cover:
  3.1 'Final Sale' items (some exemptions may apply).
  3.2 Any damage caused by the customer. This is inclusive of but not limited to mishandling, alteration, defacement, modification of the item or accidental damage caused by fire, acid, or improper care of the jewelry, attempts to repair, or any other cause except for manufacturer defect. The warranty applies only to the initial buyer and only in the original place of purchase when an original proof of purchase is provided.
  4. Shipping/Delivery
  Please inspect all products upon delivery! In general, Golden Flamingo is not shipping any items to an address different from the address associated with the client's credit card (some exceptions may apply). We ship items by US PS Insured Mail / Priority Mail with delivery confirmation (delivered within 3-8 business days); and by US PS Express Mail (delivered within 1-3 business days, S&H of $25). Golden Flamingo pays US PS Insured Mail with delivery confirmation for the orders exceeding $59 (before NY sales tax). For the orders under $59 Golden Flamingo a charge of $12 is applied for mailing expenses and insurance. We also ship abroad the USA. NOTE: We are not shipping valuables on Saturday for safety reasons.
  5. Miscellaneous
  A 8.875% sales tax is applied to the purchases shipped within the state of NY; Prices effective U.S. only. We reserve the right to change prices without any notice; There may be additional charges for a ring sizing; Payment for the online purchases: via encrypted / protected PayPal or Authorize.net. We have no access to our online buyer's credit card numbers; Golden Flamingo may accept a credit card number by phone in exceptional cases, only at request of a Buyer; Some jewelry, silver tableware and diamond weights are approximate; Items on picture are not actual size; The number of items available for shipment at any given moment may be limited; Product selection, prices, offers, and exclusions available online may vary from those offered by the Golden Flamingo outlet stores.
  6. Apart from the aforementioned issues all Golden Flamingo stores resolve all disputes arising from sales at their sole discretion.
