      Date of Transaction 6/6/23 Amount Paid Total due = $1,707 What the Business ************ interstate move of household goods from ** to ** to be delivered within 21 business days. Nature of Dispute: - Breach of Contract / Non-Delivery of Household Goods / Holding Hostage of Household Goods They did not deliver my goods within the 21 days maximum number of days per the terms as on the job order/contract form. It has been over a month since the moving company picked up my goods on 6/13/23 and they have not provided any valid reason for the delay. On 7/6/23, I called the moving company to find out my goods were put in storage and remained in ** and had not been scheduled by dispatch for transport. This was without my knowledge or authorization and inconsistent with what was explained to me as part of the service. Whether or Not the Business Tried to Resolve the Problem NO. I've been calling daily for over a week now. The sales office will answers the phone, and they keep telling me I should expect a call about within 2 days about my delivery date. A week has passed not and I not received any call yet, nor will they definitively tell me where my goods are and when they will deliver my goods. I've called the dispatch number ************, and they continually not answered my calls.Job # *******

      This Moving company Complletely mislead me,i was contacted by a guy by the name of **** (not even is real name) he told me he was from VP movers in Brooklyn,i was looking to move from Staten Island ** to ********* **.Idid tell him i would only hire a company that come to the house and give me a visible estimate of the move,only one other company was willing do this.I asked **** why i cant find any reviews about VP moving on the internet ,he keep giving some bogus web sites to go to.thats when i should have moved on to another company!He also kept bad mouthing the other company i was looking to use **** told me a smaller tuck was going to come to my house on SI take all my furniture and boxes and miscellaneous stuff to Bkooklyn and load everything on a 18 ******* .Much to my surprise the moving company that came was Xpress ************************************************* not VP moving i asked the guy in charge his name was ***** he told me its the same company?They came on 5-8-22 which was on a sunday which was fine with me.,i was told by **** that the biger tuck would leave BK on 5-11-22 and be in ********* in two weeks.Igive the guys that came to my house in SI a very generous Tip little did i know what aggravation would follow.I was told by ***** that to other guys would be bring my stuff from the same company.Ireceived a call on 5-27-22 by the mover who was on road it was about 3pm Could hardly understand him very bad English he said he woul be there at 9 o'clock i said see you in the morning he said not in a nice manner no tonight, i said it to late he threatend me if i cant come tonight im going to charge you more money (i said you cant i have a contract) i let him come that night i figured it woul be nice to sleep on my own bed.there were to guys the one in charge had a very nasty attitude ,the finshed a 2AM.All my Furniture is damaged Chips And scratched , and they lost four boxes ,When i the bottom line is that wanted to give me $280.00 as settlement this is Ridiculous !

      On July 2nd xPress Moving Vanlines Corp initially quoted me over the phone for the move to be $3225.62 with me specifying my inventory in detail over the phone and paying $150 in deposit. On the day of move, the movers came and they stated your inventory goes by size of boxes and price jumped to $6000, after some negotiation I was able to bring it down to $5,200. I was unhappy but I had no choice, I needed to move right away since my house closing was due in couple of days and I had no time to shop around. They deceptively gave me low rate initially so I would go with them and then at the end they hiked their moving rate.The pickup date was July 21st, 2021, and I was promised that my furniture would arrive by July 28th over the phone to my destination address, but it arrived on August 15th. I was living without furniture for over 2 weeks and incurred some other living expense due to that reason. My belongings arrived late, and it was damaged and some items were missing. I started filing an insurance claim with xPress Moving Vanlines Corp to get compensated for the damaged/missing items. I have not received any appropriate response or compensation. My total claim is for $31,350. As per one of the personnel at xPress Moving Vanlines Corp my belongings were sent to wrong address by this moving company. I have sent damaged pictures of my furniture to the company but they are not responding.
